  1. I will add one thing. I bought this game not on the premise of PvP, or MMO, but that I'd be able to design ships for my nation of choice leading it though the decades of the dreadnought era and how those designs I do effect the future of said nation. Should I concentrate on cheap DDs, or build a fleet of expensive BBs?
  2. Haven't had one like this yet, but it gave me a chuckle.
  3. The one thing which gets me is allowing secondary guns on the superstructures. At the moment I can't build historical US WW2 ships like the Iowa because it will not take the 5" mounts on the superstructure. I do a small YT channel, and one of game video my designed battleship can't hit a thing while the AI ship pounds me to Davy Jones' locker. But in another video I win easily. So I'm not convinced that the AI is better or stronger yet. I would like some more variations on barbette placement.
  4. I had the two launcher thing once about a month ago. It might be hardware related, can't rule it out considering I had it once and not before or since then. I might have had something running in the background.
  5. The biggest problem is we are in a time where online games need to be quick. Taking an hour or more just for one battle many players will not do. I see this in WoWS, even though many games are less than 20 minutes there is a group which wants the games to be quicker (another group wants them longer). I see this game as very difficult to mass market as an online game which people will enjoy. Honestly this idea that only an online game can make money shows how shallow some gamers have become.
  6. Another thing could be just give us more placement points for barbettes. Some of the points leave the forward guns way too far forward.
  7. While I understand the desire to design a ship and have it face off against another person's designed ship I feel it would take away from what will be the core of this game. This game is really a single player, you might be able to implement a multiplayer game later on after things have been more fully developed. Let's have the devs focus on the game first. I've played many MMOS which would have been better as a single player game but for some reason people think a MMO is somehow better. Let me be brutally honest, its not.
  8. Updated and now uploaded a video on what I saw on my Bitchute and YT channels. It will be fun to build the Bismarck and Hood for upcoming battles.

  10. Is there going to be more variety for light cruiser hulls soon? I went to create the light cruiser Ajax for my YT channel only to discover that for in Custom, British, 1940, light cruiser, the hull doesn't allow you to have superimposed turrets. So you will have a hard time creating many post WW1 light cruisers. Had to switch gears, ended up doing the mission Meet the US Battleships and designed a Chinese battleship. Not sure how that happened, or I clicked on the wrong mission but it was fun. 🤔
  11. If you look at the top of the screen you'll see enemy ships which are spotted. Double clock on one of them and bam, no need scroll taken right to the ship in question. I had the same problem until I realized the easier path.
  12. I like that zone idea. There are many times I wish to place a barbette and can't. It makes creating a BB with 6 centerline turrets more difficult.
  13. Been playing several games now, one thing which is getting quite constant is the enemy retreating the moment their ship is damaged. Really noticeable in the custom battle. I'm spending most of my time in battles chasing an enemy ship, and if I don't have the speed its pretty much over.
  14. The one thing I'm noticing in custom combat, is the enemy AI ships retreating the moment they get damaged. And if they are faster, the combat is essentially over.

  16. I will admit, I too was wondering if there had been any update to the release time.
  17. I like the destroy an unarmed convoy and the armed convoy. It actually took me a while to figure out how to win the unarmed convoy as I let the AI steer the ships and it never closed the distance which is needed. There is one, think its BC vs. BB where if I place my ships on AI run away, and another one where both sides just run away (think its going to be addressed in the next update) that are frustrating as I'm not that good of a pilot for ships, especially several divisions.

  20. I had a similar thing happen in Dreadnoughts vs torpedo boats. No crash, was able to finish the mission (which I managed to win) but this popped up at the end.   22. I just have to say, yet you are kinda bashing the game because it doesn't conform to what you want (despite the main aspect of the game is missing). As for game balance, you obviously haven't been to the WoWS forum. Its a constant thing going on over there.
  23. I really like WoWS (use the same name over there for that game). However, this game is very different. The game isn't really about the battles, but will be the campaign mode which appears to be more single player. There might be a way to make it multi, but its not going to be sit down for twenty minutes type of match, but longer, and personally I speed up the matches. You couldn't do that in a multiplayer mode.
  24. I know with the barbettes I wish you had more options for placement. Many times it feels like those aft turrets (superimpose X and Y) are way to close to the stern.
  25. If one was to add planes, especially carrier planes then you would have to start adding designs for AA mounts. Add in how to realistically do such battles in a way which is playable and is the current game engine even capable of handling it.
