  1. I've had battleships and battlecruisers destroyed with one hit of 2 or 3k damage, ive also had an enemy ship turn its tail and run and put up its shield of invincibility. Last night I had a custom battle were i did 10 on 10 battleships at 1k range. Of course without being able to select a tonnage or minimum gun caliber to face I ended up with 10 80k ton 18in armed ships verse 10 41k ton 14in ships. I killed 9 ships quickly, the last turned tail and ran, I had 10 battleships each with 12 18in guns shooting at it as it sped away, everything was red, all guns disabled, and the ship took well over 100k damage and hundreds of hits from both HE and AP. The structure damage hardly moved and flooding never increased. Finally after a full 10-15 min of shooting at it with 120 18in guns it sank. Not sure what was intended with the Structure/flooding but it really appears broken. Same with the difference in shell impacts on the side of the ship and torps. I can get some big numbers for damage from side shell hits that do not cause flooding, but a torp hit for 7 damage will cause flooding almost every time. I would love to know how the protection/armor system on these ships is supposed to work.
  2. First time posting. Love the game, especially the quick battles. It reminds me of making missions in Chuck Yeager's Air Combat and the Star Trek Starfleet Command series. Even if the campaign fails the quick missions are great. Some general observations and wish list. A tonnage limiter in the Quick Battle menu. Even a fleet tonnage limit. Or some type of treaty limits of the time frame. More flexibility in tower location, funnel location and barbette locations, actually any reduction in building restrictions is awesome. An internal layout designer, especially enabling weight shift fore and aft with fuel bunkerage. Being able to select a lower mark turret on a newer ship. At least the image for design freedom. Would love to see a more detailed armor info. A quick reference on what my current armor design is immune to, what range and size of gun. Or at least a helper, a quick design, I will be facing 14" guns please armor to the minimum needed. Now game observations. Enemy torpedo accuracy seems about 10X better then mine especially at long range. Opening battles my ships like to fire all torps within seconds while the enemy is accelerating. Always resulting in 100% misses. My ships randomly stop shooting with even minor course corrections for long periods of time. I have to switch from normal to aggressive, or the other way to get them to fire again. Ship structure is some fickle random number. Have had ships shot out from under me with 100% float-ability all guns functional, both towers functional and all engines functional. Would be nice if gun turrets would track current targets better. Have seen turrets go the long way around to get on target. This delays the entire broadside. Having 5 turrets on target waiting for the 6th to slowly rotate the wrong way for over a minute is very frustrating. Overall great experience, cant wait for more flexibility in designs. Keep up the great work!
