  1. I have somewhat expected that to happen since the last two topics about Naval Academy Balance and AI Designs. To be honest, I would like to see at least some campaign screenshoots like Campaign Map or something, even if it's not completed yet.
  2. @Nick Thomadis Two questions: 1. Is it possible to give AI only one design for specific missions like in "Prove your Might" where we are supposed to fight against Bismarck and Prinz Eugen (EDIT: at least according to mission description it WAS looking like they are Bismarck and Prinz Eugen.) ? 2. If yes, then is it also possible to give players an option for those kinda missions to choose either "Historical design" or "Nonhistorical design" for AI warships?
  3. Yes, because AI doesn't have "fixed" designs, each time you launch the same mission, you will see completely new designs created by AI.
  4. ORP BÅ‚yskawica after her refit in 1941 performed in Great Britain: ORP BÅ‚yskawica and her sister ship ORP Grom heading towards Isle of Wight 3 April 1942: It's pretty funny because "Main Tower" of Grom-class destroyer looks like combination of British (for example: Tribal-class) and Japanese (for example: Yugumo-class) main tower.
  5. I fully agree with first, second and fifth point, but I cannot agree with third and fourth. Not sure about third point, it sounds very simplified for this game, and it also conflicts with fourth point because if we gonna have more advanced gun (by either using a "Mark" system or "Barrel lenght") mean increase in accuracy, range and penetration, and this mean that for example 18-inch gun would be able to penetrate 19-inch armor from 25% of its maximum range.
  6. ...he doesn't need to copy his designs... He only needs to learn some basic informations from those videos like why he should care about offset, etc. Besides, most of his designs are impossible to recreate now due to changes in module costs, weights, etc.
  7. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsJCJD1tAzTZ1eUUiskH-9w/featured Watch this guy early episodes (as he usually just skips building process for some reason in the recent videos.). Here is his first episode about this game:
  8. @Cptbarney @Bluishdoor76 Oh ok thanks, I spended like 2-3 hours searching for those turrets xD
  9. I always wondered and always forgot to ask about them, but from what nation come those turrets used as a secondary armament in images above for example? And what Warships used them as part of their primary/secondary armament.
  10. Most likely the devs are trying to make as many hulls as possible to give us good enough numbers of hull variations for the upcoming campaign, and when they do that, we will see more updates focusing on improving things like armor scheme and adding new features.
  11. IJN Harugumo: Needed to use two funnels to accommodate empty space, A turret barely fit if you use a maximum of allowed displacement and only quintuple torpedo launcher instead of octuple. Four Harugumo-class Destroyers from 7th Raider Squadron leaded by Captain Hayashida Masaki engaging U.S. Convoy: Photo taken by US War correspondent (what the hello kitty he was doing there) showing one of the transport ships being damaged by IJN 7th Raider Squadron: Photo taken by one of the sailors on IJN Usugumo: U.S. Destroyers begin firing at IJN Destroyers: IJN Usugumo after fire broke out and leaded to explosion in X turret magazine: Photo taken from US War correspondent (Why is he still Alive?) showing explosion from US perspective: Photo taken by a sailor from IJN Harugumo showing lack of X turret on Usugumo: Soon after Usugumo received heavy damage, IJN Captain Hayashida Masaki of the 7th Raider Squadron ordered tactical retreat as main objective was accomplished by destroying 80% of U.S. Transport Ships. While commencing a retreat, every destroyer continued firing at U.S. destroyers, one of the shells have been able to hit USS Doyle and damaged it in the same way as IJN Usugumo was. Photo taken from USS Jake: Aerial photo taken by PBY Catalina crew: IJN Looses: 67 Crew (53 from IJN Usugumo) IJN Usugumo heavily damaged. IJN Harugumo, IJN Tsuga and IJN Kisaragi slightly damaged. U.S. Looses: 7 Liberty-class transport ship 1 Farragut-class Destroyer USS Clemson USS Doyle heavily damaged. USS Jake and USS Farragut slightly damaged.
  12. I guess you have misunderstood me, I said "one of my favorite IJN Cruisers" and as far as I know, currently we are not able to build Takao-class due to the lack of proper superstructure. Or Towers if you prefer this term.
  13. Few updates more and maybe I'm gonna be able to build one of my favorite IJN Cruisers :3
  14. Ah yes, forgot about them, but those bonuses should apply only when US is at war with at least two nations.
  15. For the Japan -5% cost of using 610mm torpedoes -5% cost of using Oxygen fuel for torpedoes -5% cost of building destroyers -5% torpedo reload on all ships For the Germany: -5% time of researching any technology -5% time of researching armor type (10% with the first bonus) -5% time of researching torpedoes For Great Britain: -5% cost reduction of building ANY type of ship -5% time reduction of building ANY type of ship +2 Level for every recruited Admiral For the United States: -5% time of building new dockyards and ports -10% time of researching radar and sonar technology -5% time of building cruisers
  16. True, but that doesn't change the fact of ability to create warships with 500mm belt armor xD EDIT: With Krupp IV armor type!
  17. Why not just limit maximum armor values on each type of armor? For example: With Krupp IV, maximum belt armor is 320mm. With Krupp III it's 340mm and etc.
  18. Oh, i forgot, blue areas represents new features not available in previous generations.
  19. Hello, because I have nothing better to do during quarantine, I have created idea for remaking a radar system in the game. I have created "little tech tree" for "researching" a radar system and gave each radar it's own statistics based on those currently available in the game and those that will sooner or later appear in the game. First, the tech tree: You start by researching a Surface Search Radar of First Generation. After you unlocked SSR of Third Generation, you get access to UNLOCK your first Fire Control Radar. Every FCR requires mounted SSR of at least Third Generation as it is acquiring basic information about the target position. NOTE: Icons I have used above ARE NOT BELONGING TO ME. Below I post a link to see statistics of each Radar, their positive traits, negative traits and improvements over previous ones. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PfBzQoca4lRQsUFeyx3VqMgRmqi-jUJWpEoU8uxRrww/edit?usp=sharing
  20. This is path on my PC: C:\Games\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts\Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts\default\game\screenshots Don't know why I have two folders "Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts".
  21. Try with PrtSc button, press it, open Paint, select area and then press Ctrl+V.
