Gambling Den made by Academy Effects: You provide a gambling casino on board of your ship which entertains passengers (from eco missions) so delightfully they voluntarily extend their maximum stay on board for the fun of it. Passenger delivery countdown is doubled: six days instead of three Blueprint needs: actually only playing cards and dice needed, but devs can add 5x specimen of really rare fish as you need to cook splendid meals for your guests on board as well, plus an assortment of alcohol we have in the game, tequila, gin, whiskey, bordeaux wine, danish beer, for a deluxe accomodation. Nice if this upgrade also brings back the money betting game we once had while sailing, and you can use it to squeeze money out of your passengers... Clan: MDRA (Framce)

  3. Would be extremely popular DLC for all ambitious shipwrights if combined with the idea by Bubba Smith I quoted above (from new upgrade proposal section, but his isn't actually an upgrade but something larger).
  4. As the whole server is affected, I think devs like in most of such cases will offer a recompensation to all, especially when server needs to be reset to last maintenance time. However, it is not certain your ship is gone. When it wasn't too damaged at time of disconnection nor facing too many enemies chances are high you find it in OW after log-in is possible again. There is an auto rescue function, but not immediately.

  10. This will only cement the domination by big clans. As you are member in such, you have nothing against it. But I have. I want to chose help, or pay them, from abroad as I see fit. With hostility missions only being a national secluded thing, I depend totally on mafia in my nation. It's bad enough port battles are limited this way. And how do you want to impede your compatriots from delaying your missions, if they hate you as a rival clan within nation, or, if foreign mafia clan bribes them to do that? Hm? See what I mean. The answer is individual ban, after brought evidence.
  11. no. Small clans may completely depend on foreign allies when they don't obey mafia structures in their own nation. At least for hostility missions they can find help independently elsewhere. Better document the thugs doing this exploit by picture and video evidence and have them banned individually. That will teach them to stop it. Wasn't "Duquesne" reported for that same behavior some weeks ago? Also by Spanish? There you go. One and the same people.
  12. I won't make any prophecies how many people will join the new 'outlaw brethren' faction with rules of their own. But given the consistency of how often suggestions about "special pirate game rules" are made over the years, I won't expect less than warm reception of that novelty. Especially when it is properly announced in some patch note and one redeemable option is given to the community for a change without need of prolific forger. People will go there from all nations, not only from traditional "pirate nation". Because it's something new, something tempting, something they dreamed of time ago but forgot, or it is something for those who are fed up with their clans in a nation, for whatever reason.
  13. You know what the appropriate answer is? Keep current pirate "nation" but introduce another pirate "outlaw brethren" which is so hardcore it does not follow the usual rules but features that what OP and several other ideas in that style proposed. Problem solved. No hard feelings among existing pirate "nation" - but you will count them voting for the new faction by the numbers by whom they leave "nation" and join outlaw brethren...
  14. This "cheating" is just in OW, in battle Santisimas and L'Oceans seem to be slower than Wasas and Trincomalees, as to be expected.

  17. Sure. But every other nation (with or without kings/queens) can use a famous book written in nation which happens to have one.
  18. Fleet Signal Flags fabricated in workshop Effects: when installed on leader ship (and only there), you can issue additional orders to your fleet ships in battle. Those are: (1) "Try to board ship X" (you click on target) (2) ""Protect fleet ship Y" (you specify ship you want to see defended by the chosen one) (3) "Sail in a straight line to direction Z" (you point a distant place on your battle map which determines a direction for chosen ship to follow). After ship reaches that place it will not stop but just pursue same course. It will still use cannons if opportunity arises, different to existing "retreat" order.   20. I think community will be very unhappy with that, it's just another bad idea like Loki Rune on peace server, if Privateer Fleet only gets help from players (against players) and not the other way around.
  21. Technical question: did you only see an option to join on privateer fleet's side or also on player (brit) side?
  22. Green on green does not work on PvE server as you don't do damage on players.
