  1. Unless the bug is his 1st & 2nd divisions of his II Corps, were obliterated.
  2. Well there ya go. Now ya know I'm not a unionist. But I clearly enjoy a good draught of A&W root beer with my Arby's sandwiches.
  3. Damn that Rigging! I've done a couple Revell U.S.S. Constitutions and always managed to get my hands all tied up in rigging those things.
  4. Careful on the color coded corps symbols as the Union army didn't adopt them till after 1863.
  5. I prefer Arby's over any other Fast Food. Arby's has the meats!
  6. Looks like I get to start over again!
  7. You already manage Corps Commanders. He's talking Division and Brigade commanders. Yes, I know semantics. And I am sure you knew this. Your not wanting it doesn't negate those who do. But then those who do probably tend to play more realistically.
  8. Welcome to the game and all it's frustrations.
  9. I will say this, while the AI did not defend VPs taken by them, it was fully aware of my movements behind their lines as several brigades broke loose and fell back towards the VPs as they were overtaken.
  10. Okay, so I don't visit the steam page. I guess that shows a bit of my ignorance, maybe not. Maybe it does show a bit of my age however, as I don't live on Steam either.
  11. Indeed. I too have slipped units behind the enemy lines and managed to secure VPs after they are left undefended.
  12. So we're going to jump right over the Siege of Petersburg? Or the race to Appomattox? Both those went into 1865.
  13. Problem being, if you've already bought pre-release, you get your updates for free.
  14. Too short to be 1st Vermont in disguise.
  15. Usually at Shiloh, just direct your divisions past the skirmishers, they'll fall back. But they become P.I.T.A.s on the other side of the creek. I usually assign a brigade to wear them down. On a different note, infantry, skirmishers, cavalry, and supply wagons all surrender if circumstances fall in place. The only organization that never surrenders is artillery. It would be nice if they would eventually surrender as well.
  16. I got this handed to me again at Shiloh. I was within 100 yards of the marker when I got slapped back to half a mile out. And as said with my depleted units, and nowhere near the organization I had them before teleport.
  17. Take your time Devs! Get it right, or as close as you can before updating.
  18. And let's not forget those who whine for more colorful uniforms!
  19. It's not a holiday. Did you read the link? It's a day to lend your volunteerism to the National Park Service helping them to do some "spring cleaning" if you will of the displays. Any day you're alive and available to help with something like this it's a good day. Just to be fair, this event falls on the first Saturday of April, pretty much every year. It's just that this year the first Saturday also happens to be the 1st. Those of you who are in the U.S. here, it's a great day to get out and return the favor of preserving our history.
  20. For those of you with the means, and motivation, as well as location, APRIL 1st 2017 is Park Day. An opportunity for you as a history fan to give back to the parks in your area for preserving the history of the U.S. The list is by State, find the closest park and volunteer some time! Everyone will appreciate it.
  21. Let's not forget the better clans of the Scots as well mate.
