  2. i quote myself from another suggestion topic: now that port battle dont happen so often and they are also announced by system i will prefer: 1- port battle start in 15 min: server announce on the screen and players from both nation involved can join the "port battle lobby" from any NATIONAL port without the need of selecting now the ship. 2- in the first 5 minute players with higher hostility points ( let's say from max points to X points) from both nation can choose their preferred ship among the 25 slot available (something like: 2 1st rate, 3 2nd rate, 5 3rd rate, 5 4th rate, 10 5th-6th rate). 3- after the first 5 minute others players with X to Y hostility points do the same (they obviusly can see which slot are free and which are already taken). 4- the last 5 minute are for all players with low points or no points (from Y to 0) and its their turn to choose their ships. -all players who have failed to join because the PB is full(if it happens) can return to play in ow or do their business without wasting any more time. -port battles truly become a national affair in which everyone can participate regardless of their distance and the free time available to them, because Naval Action is first and foremost a GAME and should be FUN. -MERITOCRACY: more you play in the region concerned by the port battle, and more slots you'll have to play with your favorite ship, both in attack and in defense -end fleet of screening, as anachronistic and not at all funny; have the courage to face the enemy in real battle and not intercept him before cowardly through exploits and magical apparitions. as the admin wrote a few days ago when the defense did not generate hostility in the region it will have less of the attacking faction slot because, in fact, it was not interested at all to the defense during the days preceding the port battle. discuss
  3. at this stage the game itself is too hard for new players, life of early acces, and im agree with u when u say regional trims of regions u got, should be available in capital too, jamaica is too empty atm. if there is a way to concentrate PvP we should try it

    well... u are the mod here... so u should be in thouch with devs more than me; they say end of november? so it WILL be december just like when u call ur girlfriend: baby be ready at 20:00 , she will be ready for 21:55

  6. i dont like magical "upgrades" at all... imho there should be two type of improvements to our ships: 1- different types of crafting solutions when u build a ship (more customization of ships,ex: like id like to take bigger guns at the expense of weight and speed of my ship, or i want more cargo space and less guns, ecc) 2- crew and/or officers improvement (a well trained crew is more realistic then a yellow square that u put on ship and puff: more reload) at the moment seems that upgrades and officer perks are doing the same work and its a bit weird. we can simply remove upgrades and focus on perks, both of officers and crew. we could have the medic with his perks and his training required, the guns officer, the carpenter ecc. in this way when u lose or cap a ship u wont lose any upgrades, and if u surrend u wont lose ur officers life. u can jump from ship to another in ur dock and keep ur officers trained and ready without the need to move ur upgrades, u finally can use capped 1 dura ship and have at the same time a very well trained crew and be able to fight other full dura ship. suggestions?

  9. hi devs, i would like to know when we will be able to enable the true full screen in game? , cause it will really help me with FPS. not every1 play with high end pcs so it will help many people. thx for ur time (actually full screen is only a bordeless window isnt it?)

  11. the only drops are when some fog coming from guns go in front of the sun so it generates some shadows, the rest is fine, the game is playable
  12. i play on a asus notebook with an i7 3537u and a geforce 740m , win 7 64bit. all at minimum quality and with 1366x768 the game runs smooth with an avg of 30fps
  13. this is my proposal: instead of a brace button and a percentage of the crew mechanich i would prefer the introduction of the injured sailors and a way to reuse them after they have been cured. historically the number of wounded was far superior to that of the dead and in the game this can be visualized in this way: You take a stern raking and instead of having 100 deaths receive 100 men disabled: 40 deaths and 60 wounded and u can not effectively use 100 of ur crew for X minutes. after x minutes or after using some doctor ability u can reuse some or all of ur wounded crew. this seems more realistic and historically accurate of a brace button...
  14. exactly, why whould i choose pirate perk for 6 points for 0,5 kn while i can pick a master perk with 0,5kn + 2,5% reload for 5 points?

  16. dont look to api too much, they are complicated... btw the reload bonus is actually in % so it's -2,5% to base reload ps: there is a delay of almost 1 second from when u click mouse button or space bar to when the shot really fire, so if u want to double-check the reload time with the perk u should start ur stopwatch when u see the cannon ball exit the cannon and not when u click the button. let me know
  17. yesterday we tested in duel room master perks with belle poule and santisima and seems they are working now, 2,5% reload bonus... but last time ive checked before this post they were not

  19. would be really cool but not so easy to do, to have X small circles in the bot-middle screen where X are the number of ur cannons divided per decks. each circle corresponds to a cannon and is filled independently of the other while it is being recharged. in each circle shows the number of men currently used to recharge the gun that is greater depending on the type of gun (long, medium, carronade), and to return to your question, the destroyed cannon will appear with a red X on the circle. at the moment is bad to see the circle of deck filling up and then when it's over u have only half of ur guns loaded cause u have no enough man to reload all cannons, would be cool to see from the START of the reloading how many guns u will have ready to fire and WHICH one u will have ready (front or back guns)
