  1. I think that the removal of labor hours is needed for the economy to function properly, labor hours reduces the amount of content being produced resulting in a lack of content and a abundance of resources. This causes the produced contents price to be very inconsistent and far more expensive then the resources used to produce it. Because of this labor hours acts as a limiter, it limits how you can play the game. If you want to be competetive you have to craft, I haven't really played in a clan but I imagine they need to spend their labor hours more or less on a daily basis maybe that's fun I wouldn't know but I find crafting to be far too much effort and planning ahead to be any fun. If someone enjoys crafting and would like to do it more it also limits them from doing so. The price of crafted content would be directly affected by the resources used to craft it rather then people putting a price on whatever they think all their effort and time crafting it was worth. The price of the resources would be affected by the amount of it being in need by the people crafting, a lack of resources in your nation would most likely result in more expensive content. It would give players an incentive to capture more ports and regions potentially increasing the amount of pvp and conflict in the game, as they battle for resources. It could give you a need to work on the "smuggler flag" as people might want to purchase their resources from a richer nation that might have much more resources available to them at a much lower cost. And people like me who have a limited interest in crafting would be able to purchase the content at a price that makes far more sense then the ranges of prices that's currently in the game. It would most likely increase the pacing of the game and I'm sure there are people concerned everyone will sail 1st rates everywhere. Personally I highly doubt it and even if that was the case it should be their choice what they wish to sail putting things so far out of their reach that they quit the game rather then reach it might just result in a very low server population. Already very low imho I think it's better to balance the game through available resources rather then with labor hours. I wrote all this in more detail but I got logged out Before I clicked submit topic, annoying xD
