So salty. I seriously wish I was as awesome as y'all make me out to be, but I don't think I could even think up half of those plans. -
It was great fight, and y'all certainly surprised me with the size of the fleet at that hour. You fought well and deserved those ports back, I really enjoyed the defense at Montego Bay. P.S. Sometimes I hate visiting these forums, I swear to God that people who had absolutely nothing to do with the fight on either side are the saltiest players posting in here.

You have to also realize the main issue is that officers can't kick members from the clan, only the creator can. That is another simple change that could work.

The developers don't have a good system in place, they need to do what they can manually until they create a proper system. Imagine if the SLRN creator fell off the face of the earth, would y'all be willing to recreate that entire clan and go by a different name?

To bring the largest amount of players onto the server so that we can test properly. Are we designing a game with a population of 500, 1000, 3000? It makes a huge difference, imagine if EVE was split into regional servers, it would never have lasted long.- 140 replies

We've had quite a few pirates switch servers and join with us, PVP 1 is simply more balanced in terms of national populations. I feel like PVP 2 started at a disadvantage because all the established guilds/clans playing on the original server and obviously more Europeans will spread out to their home nations, unlike PVP 2 which obviously would have most players on the USA faction.

So, this is a simple suggestion/discussion and I'm sure most of you will just read the titles, and that's fine. I would like to see at the next wipe (ports/money/ships) that we merge the servers back together. The major influx of population from the release has no calmed down as most of us were predicting, and if we want to keep playing with a decent number of players we need to go back to a single server. I don't see any major downside to this, I personally didn't like the idea of splitting the server between regions to begin with, and most of you had agreed with that. So please use this thread to discuss and vote on whether or not we should merge the servers back together the next time there is a wipe, that way nobody will lose anything. I'm keeping the poll stupid, simple, and to the point to get the best gauge of what the player base feels like.

How about brainstorming some interesting ways of changing the Pirates, other than removing things? I'd love to hear some Ideas personally.

It's still funny that people make this argument, you can ask any number of veteran players and they will tell you that ping does not matter in this game. This game will only ever succeed if it can be played on a single server, rather than dividing the player base. If you have lag, then you are part of the 1% and in my opinion are an acceptable loss when compared with the awesomeness of one gigantic server.

I see a red dot and I want to paint it Blaaack.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4irXQhgMqg But talk about "shoehorning" don't take away my ability to fight conquest, just because I'm a pirate doesn't mean that I shouldn't be able to participate in a fundamental part of the game. I keep saying it over and over, don't remove features to make us unique, add features (Carrot vs Stick argument).

I've recommended a similar idea as well that was met with opposition... http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/8695-binding-teleport-to-regional-capitols/ Sadly, most of the opposition is from people who don't like teleports period. I don't think they are going anywhere, so I would enjoy a better system than the one we have currently which benefits some nations more than others.

For Pirates it really is a necessity, we need to be able to identify friendly pirates vs enemy pirates. Also it helps if a National clan wants to "ally" itself with a clan from another faction, it allows them to distinguish friend from enemy.- 32 replies

As a Pirate, I want to be addressed with like 20 made up titles. Something like, Lord Commander, Protector of Free Men, King of the Carribean, Breaker of Nationals, and Democratic King of the Pirate Republic. -

I would love the names to be faction based! I'd imagine Pirates would not have the same title as Governor like the British, and the same goes for the French compared to the Danish. After all, playing as a pirate our rank names are very different. Thief, Rascal, Scoundrel, Maurader, etc.
