Title pretty much sums it up, I think it's probably an easy addition that has been overlooked.

Been battling against these guys leading up to Early Access and they are a good bunch. I'm sure they are going to kick even more ass after the Steam launch.

Exceptions can be made, but you need to get onto teamspeak and talk with an admin.

God, you people need to take a chill pill. Y'all accuse us of things constantly and never have any real proof, you just like to claim things about FTS that are completely untrue and it's starting to really get annoying.

Sounds like someone is giving you misinformation, nobody ever said that BLACK was disbanded. We were only confused (as were some of your members) because nobody was ever on your teamspeak. It sounds like you have switched to another multi-guild teamspeak and it confused people who were still in your old one to come over and play with us because they didn't see any other BLACK members.

Well speaking from experience I haven't seen any pirates doing something like that since they added in assist exp, because it is an inefficient form of grinding exp. I also talked to some of the guys in my clan and none of them have seen that happening either. Maybe it is some people online during the European timezone and then I wouldn't know, but I wouldn't worry about it too much.

But if you ban Ships of the line, then only the criminals will have them!

I would also expand on this idea with removing the pirate capitol and making it possible for pirates to create conquest flags from Freetowns. This makes the pirate game play a little bit more asymmetrical because they can come and set up shop wherever they are and there will be no "safe" spot to farm at. I'd like to see nations start noticing pirates in their territory slowly bringing in more ships and have to combat piracy inside of their territory if it pops up.

I would personally love to see premium ship skins. Now the way they would work is that you purchase the skin with real money and then you get an "upgrade" that you can slot onto the ship that it is meant for and it changes the cosmetic of the ship to something cool and still historical to set you apart from the peasants. This would help with the problem of premium ships being captured by friends and what not, because if someone captured your ship it wouldn't still have the skin on it. Just something to think about.

Blackjack I think that is the issue that seems to be getting glossed over, blockading is fine, but joining on the side of an npc fight (to avoid the protection fleet) when new players are just trying to level up is silly. It needs some kind of game mechanic to prevent that, because it will only become more common with a higher population.
