Ned Loe
My first clue; http://www.gloryships.com/pages/gallery-french-74-guns.html This one is very very close, I can't find the ships name! It only recalls to French 74-gun (1780) http://i-am-modelist.com/2012/11/14/french-74-gun-1780/
D. Federico de Gravina y N
i think that is more spanish than french http://www.todoababor.es/vida_barcos/img/partesnavio/min_vent_popa.htm http://www.todoababor.es/vida_barcos/img/partesnavio/animacion/min_vent_animacion.htm Edited February 24, 2015 by RAE_Cmdt.Cavero
Flip
Is it the Valiant or Centy? If its the centy it is based off of the HMS Centurion (1732) if its the Lion, well, that is the Centy If it is the Val it is based off the Ingermanland (1715) Just keep in mind a lot of the ships were 'based on' in POTBS and not built to exacting historical specs. Mirones
none the model got lost durring an hardware melddown of the harddisc it was on and the modeller was highly upset about it that he didnt want to model her again. since her decks are completly flat and not curved she is newer than bellona. i know the answer since i researched it to but that was maybe 2-3 years ago? Surcouf
It is a French-designed vessel. The model is the vessel of 74 guns designed by Jean Boudriot. This ship has no name it's a 74-gun ship type 1780. http://ancre.fr/en/ouvrages-de-base-en/9-vaisseau-de-74-canons-1780-traite-pratique-d-art-naval-1780-en-quatre-volumes-base-de-la-collection.html This is the latest evolution before the vessels Borda-Sané kind that starts in 1782.
