Increase Ship Speed Across the Board OW

Increase the ship speed by every ship including AI with a simple code in open water by 10%  ..   maybe increase battle speed every ship by 5%?

 

Need to speed up the game somewhat , especially open water.   I am sure this has been discussed but needs some comments.    so ....  Please COMMENT!

so on a a 30 min sail you "save" 3min? You don't mention anything at all about why this should be the case, and how it would impact the game in a positive way apart from "speeding up the game"... which can be both positive and negative depending on your view.

Reduce speed in OW by 10% or even 5%. No explanation needed. It is obvious.

i think the speeds are kind of too fast already (found the balance over time)
we tried slower and faster

i prefer even slower (easier to shoot actually)

I know Maturin, for battle speeds, says we are getting over the maximum hull speed for vessels. It could be lowered so that with all the best mods, fir, etc., you hit maximum hull speed, while keeping ship speeds relative to each other the same.

The main thing is that a Unity knot is faster than a real world knot by a considerable amount.
