  2. I will copy what I wrote in the tribunal thread were admin asked for how they can stop this by design. (if you want to read it the link to is this : http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/11574-scammer-pvp-1-trr-member/page-2 ) The thing most crafters ask for the material is so they dont have to provide that material themself. So the ship becomes cheaper as the crafter only use the LB on that persons account. So to build the ship you have to give them the material to use otherwise the ship wont be built. But there is a solution as you said but it might not work out or not. That is that you got a temporary warehouse (sort of) the player which is buying/trading the ship or whatever you're trading for puts in the materials in there. That player get also a window of what that player can build by those resources provided in the temp warehouse. So we will take an example. A player want me to build a Pavel, I ask for resources, that player add the required resources in the temp warehouse (which is located in the trade dialog) the player then select the Pavel from the blueprint list and how many notes shall be used for the ship/modules. It will then check if all the required resources is there (I can also add in the materials needed for it if I want too). So the player have added the resources,money (whatever is part of the deal), picked the ship/module then when we both agree the ship is built put into the ship slot of the trade and the resources is used and the trade is complete. Edit: When I reread what you wrote again we sort of had the same idea here ^^ But that I force the ship to be traded when the ship is built so the crafter cant keep the ship when its built (otherwise we got a scam possibility again)

  4. Thats very interesting So if we positioned the same ship (with different frames) on the same distance from another vessel with the different gun types the penetration of the ship will differ depending on what kind of wood the ship use. So Oak add to the HP and not the the armor class?
  5. All other info states that Teak is the neutral part in it, teak gives no buff or negs. Fir give buff in speed but neg in HP, Oak gives buff to HP but neutral in speed, live oak buff to HP but neg to speed. http://www.navalactioncraft.com/craft-info
  6. It will be really hard to stop this by any game mechanic as there will always be a way around this due to the direct trade. Only way to stop these sort of scams is to remove the direct trade and that would be a big step back as its used to make deals in trade between two players. Is to give gold, ships , materials etc to players. It's also to help people to craft (I use it to help crafters by crafting their material so they can produce more ships faster). So if you want to be certain to stop these scams the only way is to remove the option for it to be able to do so and that is the direct trade between players which make it possible. Edit: Grammer
  7. I like the black sides but I dont like the black stearn. But if it have to be one colour on those parts then red, because having the whole rear black is not looking good. But otherwise black on the sides and red on the stearn So it would be interesting in how the black sides would look with the red back. Because with the black back the transition on the colour from black<yellow<black its to strong, but with black<yellow<red its a more nicer transition of colour according to me. But the black sides looks really good. Also thank you Ragnar
  8. Ragnar can you take more screens of the ship with the black on the stearn? It will maybe look different then? But right now the red looks a lot better then the black due to the other colours, also it would be very odd to have one section in one colour (not normaly done).

  10. You sure on that? On daily I see around 1800-2000 players on EU PvP1 server. On US PvP2 I see at highest 1400. On PvP EU Mirror I see from 800 to 1400. The player cap on each server right now is around 2500 players on the same time.
  11. The ranks by default is the English ranks, depending on your nation they get overrided by that nations ranks name. The AI got the default names on their rank currentley as OlavDeng wrote.
  12. It seems to have been resolved as the player count went from 1000 to around 1400 again. It looks like there were a lose of packet to the server (connection issues)
  13. The server cap is there for two reason, hardware limits and software limits. Until either of these are resolved it cant become one big server (or one big PVP server and one big PVE server), I dont know how they have built up the software or the hardware for the servers or what their idea is but I know why the limit to the cap is and that is what I stated on the first row.

  15. The official archives (the states archives which got the blueprints) states the ship HMS Friheten - Freedom had 60 guns from their information.
  16. The player wouldnt lose the XP. The player (if not given to one the player trust for safekeeping ) would lose the ships,gold and the special blueprints the player have gotten from crafting/breaking up ship. The rank XP and crafting XP is tied to the account.

  18. What you do if its chat related is that you right click their name on the chatline which is breaking the rules, press the button report. Also to bring forward the cursor in battle hold down left ctrl and the cursor will appear. The tribunal is not for violations in chat, that is what the ingame report function I described is for.
  19. Can't be. Friheten = Freedom had 60 guns. Enigheten = Unity had 66 guns. If we count the cannons port on the blueprint its 29 on each side. So 29*2=58. Well one of his task actually, they wanted to know how other nations built their ships so collecting other ship designs is perfect Also on the planning and drawing of the Göta Kanal (Gota Canal, the canal which goes right thru Sweden) they went over to Russa and measured their ships and made sure their ships would never fit. Also beautiful model of Farquharson Also nice to see a model of one of Chapmans tradeships too
  21. Indeed its a lion with a crown. I think this is ,to 99% chance, HMS Friheten as its a 60 gun vessel. HMS Bremen were also a 60 gun vessel and it states the demensions on this ship on the blueprint shall go from HMS Bremen.

  23. The drawing of the ship is by Charles Sheldon (he were the shipbuildmaster during this time). He were in charge of over 59 ships. But the closest to the time is as Ligatorswe have writen either Enigheten or Friheten. But if its a 60 gun ship its more likley to be Friheten as Enigheten had 66 cannons.
  24. The limit on ships in the battle is several things, balance is one but you got two big issues which is software and hardware. I will link you a video where the only ship we had in the battles were SoLs After a short while when most ships were close and everybody had fired their guns (well most of us) the commands got delayes. I could for example order the left side to be fired, after 20-30 seconds they fired the first guns. Edit: Added so the video started at start instead of 47 minutes.
