  4. hands up if you think the devs are adding stuff to the patch. fish and eels if you think they aren't. also i wonder if bones prediction of 3 weeks from announcement will come true.

  6. Once, the modern ships are in. They should then focus between 1872-1905, then 1906-1925. So we get some decent early and mid game stuff to play around with. That and also setting interesting custom battles too.
  7. Yeah, i've seen some peeps on the discord use that quite a few times. Ill check it out whenever i have time (which is rare atm lol).
  8. Hello lads. So, i've been looking on the official discord for UA:D and see a lot of back and forth from the community there regarding CV's in-general. However i'd like to see what the forumites think of all of this too be fair, so we can get a clearer idea of what peeps would like. I would say myself, i'd rather they focus solely on fleet combat and that if they want to add in CV's either when the game is fully developed or in a sequel like RTW's did. (Devs would have more experience then. Also if they do go down said route a no CV's button will be needed or basically mandatory so people can choose (always the best thing). I know this has been brought up a lot, but interesting too see how it does all the time when the game is focused more towards surface combat than anything else (At the moment anyways). Also, moar old boags pls.
  9. I understand games development can be fickle or run into problems unexpectedly. However, even a few screenshots wouldn't hurt now and then. I know i'm repeating myself, but i seriously dislike the valve treatment. I mean i get far more invested and interested when i see regular and consistent updates. Than long gaps with nothing.

  12. Ye, we only got one old boag, this time around. Need more from 1872-1903 (i just want HMS devastation in the game (1872).)
  13. Ye i hope they do allow us to make ships for the AI and also improve the ship designer (as it needs it really.) All these things will help the game and give it a ton of selling points compared to any competitors too (RTW's). Guess we will wait for now.
  14. They should look at costs, as i assume that was the more defining reason half the time than weight alone. Also hope they add mod support so we can correct mistakes and add things we want too. (Plus it will skyrocket the games longevity for a good while too).
  15. Yeah, hope they realise how important that mechanic is not only is it a core mechanic its the first one you interact with before anything else. Sprocket proves its possible and thats made by one bloke. Also i want this game to be excellent as this could put games labs right at the top if done right.

Examples" Pre-dreadnoughts with diesel engines and radar Triple expansion steam engine USS Iowa Autoloaders on an early dreadnought Oxygen torpedoes on 1905 diesel Torpedo Boats [08:44] "Please, UADevs, for the love of god, make this tweak. It's a decent idea, unlocking all hulls is a bit pointless compared to unlocking all technology across the years." Shouldn't take to long to do. EDIT: Forgot to mention this isnt my idea btw, just making sure lol.
  17. 1. Would be nice as it helps break up the game more and allows for more visual content. 2. I doubt it, the devs will probs either save it for DLC or the second iteration of this game. Although i would like too see airships, scouts, and seaplanes tested before moving to anything else. 3. They won't be player designed, basically they will be similar to RTW's sub system. 4. Hopefully it gets upgraded to a HOI4 or total war style system.
  18. @Nick ThomadisIs there any possible way a few of these suggestions in shikis post could make it's way into Core Alpha 1 at all? Or will it be planned for later updates?

Yay finally a break from the silence, i do hope we get too see more content for this patch if possible (Tactical map, and maybe some improvements to sounds and visuals). But this looks noice anyways. EDIT: Oh and we still need some early light cruisers too (and moar cruisers in-general super, heavy and light). EDIT 2: @Stormnet
