  1. I wonder if changing sounds could be a thing. Or shells doing some very strange things like tiny 51mms being nukes and ridiculous speed levels. For memes anyways (former can be more realistic if its possible (as in getting custom sounds in)).
  2. Kansas makes her debut. Also very noice mod, nice too see the game is moddable at the least, hopefully adding in custom hulls and textures becomes an easier process as well.
  3. Interesting, i wonder if you can mod in 3d models like ships, towers, guns etc. If so might do a mod myself although my coding skills are pretty limited and would be a first for me too.
  4. Update 1.06 will be interesting as we will only be 3-4 updates from 1.10 as well (sort of a milestone i guess). Interesting too see how the game has evolved from mid 2019 to now. Have a good one lads.
  5. Ye this would be nice too have, think its one of the suggestions the community has been (well the older community dunno about recently) asking for awhile. Maybe in the next big update? Dunno how much the 'event' has effected their team so, wondering what they can do now or not.

  8. Yeah i wonder if the devs are ok. Im hoping the situation will die down, but i don't know at this rate. Either way take yer time lads.

Once thats done, later down the road and internal designer would be nice even if its using basic primitives like cubes and cuboids to simulate, boilers, engines, magazine rooms, crew quarters etc. adds a bit more depth to ship building and also can add some more depth to damage models too and their effects on overall combat ability.
  10. physical fog, mist and other weather mechanics would be nice. Also the waves being calm or really choppy depending on whether its rough or not. Plus i guess a new skybox, but then this can be done at a much later date when the core mechanics have been either designed, fleshed out and/or introduced in full.
  11. The second option, but also include russia and france in as the next two nations. (Russia to test out longer range mechanics and new mechanics and france for extra nation that can you play in close proximity with the other two). Then shortly followed by the USA and italy.
  12. Once thats done, they should focus on visuals and sounds as well, then AI and other systems and rotate if they can.

  15. No. Maybe in the next game, but for now no. The devs already have too much to do and the game is still pretty barebones at this stage. Also thats far too big of a scope to make assests for. The devs could make a game focused from 1950-1990 instead, which allows them to take whatever experience they took from this into the new game and make the development much more smoother. Having only surface vessels is fine.
  16. Hmm, now that we can make ships for both sides i wonder if i should do that AI tournament thing. Although will need me steam key to get the latest version however.
  17. Fionally! Now we just need the other nations to get some more as well and then more inbetween 1905 and 1920. will make early game much more interesting.

A new tech that allows you to push your ships engines beyond what they are capable for a set period of time, however risk of damage also increases the longer you leave it on and takes awhile to get back up for safety reasons. Also pre-dreads going above 18.5knots is strange, only until dreadnought arrives should pre-dreads be allowed to be refitted and then go above 20knots which would make more sense (if you wanted to keep the old ships). More ambient noises. Crew noises and different noises for ships depending on how they are constructed etc. Oh and quality for ship components, so you don't just build the perfect ship each time which means you will have to play your cards right better, this can be effected by material shortages, lack of funds, sabotage, political setbacks, global crisis's and natural disasters.
  19. 1. Dud torpedoes and torpedoes exploding or sinking after going beyond max range. 2. The ability to set gun firing modes like full salvo, half salvo, one-by-one, stagger fire etc. 3. More older unique ships from 1880-1920 (USS Texas (both), Tennessee class, HMS Neptune etc.) 4. More port designs which scale up with the vessel in question as a visual thing. 5. A more unique looking UI and better gun sounds, plus unique music and scores. 6. Shells being less bright than they are and also doppler sound effects like the whistle of shells flying by or the horrible noise a shell makes when its about to land. 7. Camos and liveries. 8. Internal hull modules and a more extensive hull damage mechanic. 9. Better physics and visuals. 10. Spotting system replaced with a 5 step system that shows a ships model at five stages (very simple, simple, detailed, very detailed, identified. 11. Crew and officers getting unique traits or bonuses in certains skills and modules depending on their personality and maybe negs to either offest those or for lore reasons. 12. More unique modules in general and the ability to play in different areas with glaciers, maybe the odd island or too and bombardment missions where we assist troops landing or just hit land targets. 13. Refits and museum ships. 14. Realistic mod, removes most features that would provide a player huge advantages. 15. Espionage and trading. 16. AI wars and Alliances. 17. Standard Templates for ships. 18. More calibres, like 410's, 240's, 310's, 140's, 162's etc and also a gun length slider and maybe a turret designer. I know all these would takes ages, but still a good amount of stuff to work on regardless. Cheers lads.
  20. Well hopefully the forums wont die again. Guess it was sudden influx of peeps visiting after the steam released dropped today.
  21. Ill add a few boag renders at somepoint or another. Atm i post mostly on my ko-fi or some discord servers i am on. The ability to add images on this forum is quite scruffy so, prefer to use the other two options atm.
  22. Well it would be impossible, should have a turning radius minimum of about 570 metres. Quite funny to see the AI do on the spot spins with a turning radius of like 5 metres lol. Thats a bug that needs sorting out, also causes issues with some issues when the AI can just spin and give you the finger, when you need to hit another portion of it to take out the vessel.
