Thx for above comments gents, We hope that more clan leaders or embassies will post here their propaganda, we need content for RVR and the more newcomers will get the current picture the better they will meaningly fit into it. Dutch could you give us some geopolitical position of your new group of active clans ? Could we hear about main Brits clan positionning after those first post-wipe weeks ? Are Prussians already splitted ? what are going to be their new organization after Gulf invasion & defence ? Do we have proeminent Pirate clans ? are they willing to deal with weaker Factions ? Would France, USA, Spain and Poland, as weakest starting Factions, make some statements here about their intentions ? More... Thank you for your upcoming feedback Cheers
  3. So far, there is no real drama with France, they have Puerto Plata (GFR clan), so 2 bonus ports. ER and ANCRE are solid french clans, with GFR. And Puerto Plata area looks like it will become a French colonial counter ports zone soon. If Poland, that has got no territory, decides to settle in the French Antilles area, what's the problem ? (Basse-Terre could be set available for all?) Polish traders will reach lots of local Ports without so much troubles, and Polish players will give a hand to the French (commercialy & military), that is not negligible for froggies. Next would be France/Sweden/Danes (main clans) agreeing on a "non-agression pact" involving the Polish as French vassal (). That would set a nice forces balance in this Eastern map area, with the cheeky Dutch as main Southern threat. ('What would not make so much sense, would be to see Dutch & Sweeds collaborating, we saw that in the past and it will only suffocate French current playerbase.) The Dutch got DARIENA to SANTO TOME Southern cost !! it's been such a long time we did not see the Dutch with that big territory, look at the West Dutchies if you want content !! Healthy Factions must care about RVR initial balance, that will be the best fertile ground for interesting future RVR evolution. Commercial agreements are necessary to first allow ALL Factions reaching a descent fleet BR's to defend efficiently their crafting ports facilities. (Fock the Pokemon race !!) Then only the Pirates will remain inpredictible threats, in that reasonable starting theater.

Damned !! hope some daring Spanish captain will consider this statement...looks like there might be some opportunities to get new ports up North !!
  5. Hey all, As far as we can read the recent/hot "France under attack" topic, one can start evaluating the current RVR theater: n°1-RUSSIA: Lots of major clans with 40 to 50 active players overall. (Same leaders as before release) with fresh incorporation of experimented players from other Factions. Main territory is the Gulf. This Faction has got today great capacity and huge potential. n°2-PIRATES: Many clans, some with larger organization, but overall a wild conglomerate of clans without perceivible common goal. n°3-GB: Some of their historical clans left to start in other Faccion. Large territory & therefore large potential to climb fleet level in medium run, as long as its population remain steady. No idea yet about any large clan that would drive this Faction. But its potential remains as always one of the highest. n°4-PRUSSIA: Nice surprise to see a well organized Faction that has well prepared the release event, impressive territory for a Faction without starting Map area. Alliances with Prussia will result so important for the whole Western Map zone stability. n°5-DANES: After being an almost dead faction, the release has reborn this Faction with HAVOC clan imigration starting the new Danish history with DNP, Good luck gents ! n°6-DUTCH: Weak former Faction (due to low population), several serious clans has started with Dutch flag together with CABAL , its a new Faction to count with now which is good for creating a new Eastern forces balance. n°7-USA: No input yet about remaining clans and global Faction situation, but looks like USA will still be stuck into that damn Map corner... n°8-SWEDEN: No input yet neither, but looks like Golden age of Sweden is far behind us today...Although Danes may become a steady friendly neighbourg. n°9-POLAND: few data but current Polish clans seem to follow an agressive behavior, this Faction could become a surprise if its players are numerous enough and wise. n°10-SPAIN: Catastrophical start after release, so territory groth is very weak and Pirate neighbourghood is a thick needle in its foot...Spain has its playerbase but some of its historical clans started in other Factions, so as France, this Faction must be somehow preserved now if we want it to become competitive tomorrow. n°11-FRANCE: Looks like its start was similar as Spain (maybe due to similarity of its playerbase mentality). France will not grow if other Factions want it, so the above much healthier Factions should start looking at improving strategical RVR balance by helping weaker Factions (like the mighty Sweeds did in the past) for the sake of RVR content and to avoid population leacks. Overall, while organized Factions are going fast in military growth others are struggling to exist. RVR is fun when you have several blocks rather balanced, it might become soon boring if we let it go towards a few superpowers fighting each other. It's true that Port Bonus system does not help AT ALL small struggling Factions...Unless Alliances system could be implemented.

Aquella tarde, me conecto con retraso, hablo con los compañeros, me dicen lo acordado: Vamos todos en El Rancho, pero ya me dicen que NO esta ya bajo control de los Prusianos y que los planes seran dinstictos a la fuerza. Pongo piloto automatico desde la Havana i dejo NA (la idea es de hacer el tutorial en El Rancho como primera tarea).Tengo que desconectar ese dia cuando veo la costa. El dia siguiente, me conecto, hablo con los compañeros para informarles que ya estoy en El Rancho y me dicen que se pasaron a Rusos... Lo unico que dije : "...es una pena..." Ahora, las razones de esta decision drastica son totalmente comprehensibles y para mi respetables: Unos jugadores saben perfectamente que tomar un primer puerto "estrategico" es primordial para poder pretender ser un minimo competitivo en este nuevo mapa. Unos jugadores competitivos, que dedican gran parte de su tiempo libre para el NA (como el grupo de los VLTRA por ejemplo) no se pueden permitir semejante negligencia. Cualquiera puede entender esto, la Faccion no estaba preparada para actuar con este mismo espiritu de competitividad y la unica manera de hacer fructificar los esfuerzos para este grupo era de meterse en una Faccion "preparada & competitiva". Realmente la Bandera es algo bonito pero este juego es tan pesado para crecer que lo de quedarse en una Faccion solo por "sentimientos" no merece la pena. En NA los que luchan para tener resultados no se comen el coco, van a por lo mas eficiente y alli era cambiar de Faccion sin perder tiempo. NA es un juego que te come tu vida, con este precio no te puedes permitir sentimentalismo. Sin mas !! Gente como Gorge y Idalgo no les faltan madurez ni mucho menos, quieren simplemente optimizar los resultados de sus esfuerzos con el tiempo pasado en este juego. Y de hecho esos resultados no pueden ser pendientes de otros jugadores que no pueden hacer los mismos esfuerzos. Esa es la triste realidad del NA hoy en dia, solo pueden colaborar grupos de jugadores con un mismo nivel de dedicacion al juego. Todo el resto es FUTIL . Esta regla es implacable ahora sobre todo en estos primeros dias, luego la cosa cambiara, poco a poco los jugadores se podran incorporar (segun su nivel de dedicacion) dentro de grupos coordinados y organizados. Ultimo comentario: "...Es una pena..." porque algunos llevan 6 meses escribiendo en este foro que habia que prepararnos, habia que hablarlo, habia que incluso preparar un nuevo grupo de clanes, etc... Y no se hizo NADA ! eso es lo unico que todos nos podemos CULPAR.

  9. Hey Greg, This intent is only trying to make clearer and simpler the understanding of the New Map RVR Evolution It might help newcomers to perceive the main strategical streams between Factions & clans, and a fresh RVR reporting should come along with fresh Map, shouldn't it ?
  10. Thank you for these RVR NEWS ! What is the situation for the British colonies ? the Dutch ? the French ? the united states ? please report back here gents. In case some peeps are not aware about it, Spainish Faction has had a very difficult kickoff, on the very first days after the great wipe several groups of players decided to leave the Faction. Big foss within its community...So the situation for this faction is presently critical (compared to others) with much slower steps done in the crafting race, and therefore a lower competitivity. In regards to RVR the Spanish Faction will take some time to manage new ports conquest, so if you all want to see an healthy Spanish colony tomorrow, let them breath a little to allow growth. Carry on posting gents, RVR is the saoul of this game ! Cheers

Dear all, Thank you to the one who will first post here, (Rediiii, Anolytic, North Viking, Babay, Des Moines, Gorge, Cassard, and so many others) It would be very interesting for all players to follow the NEW RVR SITUATION in this topic. Large clan leaders or their embassies could let us know what are they fighting for, give us your propaganda here. By doing so you will greatly serve the community who needs RVR dreams, RVR history, the forces of each current groups, the balance of strengths, the existing "agreements" between clans, etc... Asi que cualquier hilo o post tiene su importancia y merece respeto para aquellos que intentan informarse. Porfavor deja de postear sistematicamente con imagenes, videos o musicas en cualquier hilo Español, el efecto es inproductivo, no contribuye en nada y no ayuda para simplificar la lectura de los post. Hola a todos, Una confederacion de clanes es vital para la Faccion Española, Convertir los egos de cada uno en buena voluntad para que viva este gran desafio de reconquista, LISTA DE CLANES DISPUESTOS A COLABORAR ENTRE ELLOS: (ej) ==> Clan [FULAN] : embajador - Don Fulano ; Puerto: Guacatan ; Actividad favorita: PVP/RVR (ej) ==> Clan [PELUQ] : embajador - Peinado ; Puerto: Matanzas ; Activida favorita: CRAFTEO (ej) ==> Clan [ABNEG] : embajador - Oveja Gris ; Puerto: La Habana ; Actividad favorita: PVE ==> xxx ==> xxx Con los voluntarios que se anunciaran, un Señor como Alonso podra construir las bases del PACTO NUEVO. El orgullo es el primer enemigo a rematar, luego todo es posible, el plazer de jugar en grupos coordinados y respetuosos sera la mejor recompensa de este juego. Cuidaros Frog

Hola a todos, Parece que mi baneo en el foro a terminado Da mucha pena lo que se puede leer aqui...No lo entiendo de verdad, hace tanto tiempo que sabemos que este juego solo se puede jugar en RVR con la COLABORACION de una mayoria de clanes de una misma faccion. Ahora, los Dev lo han hecho muy mal como siempre, haber lanzado el juego un viernes habria mejorado mucho mas la colaboracion requerida en esos primeros dias primordiales... Las diferencias entre los jugadores Españoles, mentalidad, experiencia, disponibilidad, etc... siempre existiran, lo sabemos todos. Frente a eso hace falta paciencia y tolerancia, con eso se podra construir una comunidad mas solidaria. Estas mismas diferencias existen dentro de los clanes y los remedios son identicos para que pueda sobrevivir un clan. Asi que un jugador Español tiene que poner un poco de agua en su vino y acceptarlas sin cabrearse al instento. A que sirve siempre designar la culpa de otros ? a fracasar esta necesaria solidaridad. A que sirve siempre culpar a los susesos pasados ? a destrozar la fraternidad entre clanes. Espero de todo corazon que algunos jugadores Españoles con tacto y paciencia podran federar de nuevo la comunidad Española, de momento la faccion empieza con mucha desventaja y el trabajo sera mas duro para volver a pesar en el mapa como fuerza credible. Yo ya no tengo tiempo en mi vida actual para jugar, pasare de vez en cuando con mis DLC pa hechar una mano (A los Rusos y a los Españoles ) como un mercenario.   15. Never ever mentionned about stupid promises. Indeed what makes (or would make) sense are decisions that will increase war server population. So your reflexion about wiping XP does not quite make sense to me if it is going to reduce the motivation of the large population of "waiting players" to come back after the release. This population is your capital on which you have relied to build the NA project. So i'm just hoping to be wrong, or that you could find a compromise that would please both "newcomers" as well as "old waiting players". I fully understand that is a dilema for you and you want to take the fairest decision as well as the best businesswise decision. All I dream for is to be playing in a final NA with a sustainable server population, same as you.

Lo que no acabo de entender es que toman una decision muy mala con los XP, creo que la gran mayoria de jugadores estan esperando al release, si a estos se les quita los XP y que tengan que arrancar desde zero, pues me temo que una gran parte de ellos se les quitara las ganas de probar al juego oficial. Asi que por privilegiar a los nuevos jugadores se van a deshacer de una base de jugadores por otra parte...Y pienso que esa base de jugadores antiguos (acumuladose durante estos 4 ultimo años) que estan esperando, es una base mucho mas concreta que una hypotetica masa de nuevos jugadores. Son definitivamente muy sorpredentes y no parecen entender el termino "compromiso"...
  17. @admin NA project is your house (building) You built it for many years, One of the essential material of this construction was : your faithful player followers Do you really wish to a build foundations for a new house (the release) without relying on this precious material who helped you building your first house ? I guess not, so why not finding a compromise that will also profit to your old player base ?
  18. But is this feature extension the reason for not keeping former ranks ? or would there be a way to integrate former ranks to this new rank ladder ?
  19. This decision must be positive for both "potential newcomers" & "veterans", otherwise the War server population will suffer one way or the other. Books & knowledges being safe, it will be good for hard core veteran players (minority), but thousands of "old players" who built up their XP are not hard core players, not sure they accumulated so many special books & knowledges. I'm worried about those players (majority) who may not come back... Dev's want every player to start at same level with the release, but these special books will make a difference anyway, not sure skill will be the only difference. So the ideal leveling goal is twisted anyhow. "XP safe with books wiped" was smoother than "XP wiped with Books safe". (smoother = negative effect for less player number) NEW RANKS ARE GOING TO BE IMPLEMENTED : If this is the MAIN REASON to destroy player XP (rank), I really hope there can be a compromise that will allow new rank ladder to integrate player former ranks level. Your decision should privilege the largest population of players, there are thousands of players waiting for the release, newcomers are hypothetical projections while "waiting old players" are real bases.
  20. YES ! I always defended this fact. But XP keep was granted to veterans and was understood as being the reward & recognition for their hard/long support. So by going from white to black decision (hoping the grey decision was possible), the XP being thrown away is now going to reduce the number of potential players after the release !! New players are deadly needed as veteran players !! Personally I will wait & see what will happen after the release, if server grows I will not mind reworking these learning steps, but frankly, Dev's are taking a high risk of demotivating (and possibly lose) its faithful playerbase... Very daring decision at this stage !
  21. Very hard statement here, I'm sure you look for fairness, but you finaly decide to sacrifice the strongest capital NA project could rely on. (NA capital = veteran player base). Books & knowledges keep was a legitimate dilema towards new players, but XP wipe can be taken as very shamefull from the few thousands of players who spent so many hours of their life time in this EA in order to "improve NA". Most of them are patiently waiting for the final release, let's hope they will agree to start from zero again. Had the EA process lasted 1 year or 2, the shock would have been lighter, but after this neverending waiting, you go for the decision of thanking your followers with a simple free Pandora DLC compensation... You should think about a more consensual alternative.
  22. This is a good suggestion that has been repeated for the last 4 years in this forum...As it would entail more responsability to each player behavior in NA. Yours is well elaborated, let's hope it will be studied by Dev's.
  23. Hello there, I'm amazed to see that early access NAVAL ACTION is in fact a game project which is in constant mutation since 2015. Players who purchased that game were interested by the overall "historical" theater (and incredible graphism). Those players, like me, are speechless when seeing what NA is going to become with multiple absurbs nations and possibility to add China... I approve Dev's intention to embrass as many as possible World players but then I think this intention, to create many unhistorical nations, should have been announced from the begining of EA release. I have bought a game setting that has drasticaly changed in term of "theater" perspective, today what I'm gonna end up with is a Fiction game with nice historical ships... Sorry to say that I feel Dev's cheated on me. What would feel players who bought "Verdun" early access if their dev's decide to add Zulu warriors in trench warfare ?!!!
  24. Nothing surprizing here, Clan set Naval Action = Outlaw server player base So far away from historical captains code of honor... Nation flags are just cosmetics within a "Pirate war server". Wellcome to Naval Action Jungle !

Could we imagine individual large scale "inteligence missions" to fullfil with several successive goals to finalize the mission ? for example : - Patrol to New Orlean's water search & destroy the trader fleet (can be identified by specific sign). - Sell the stollen goods in nearby port like Biloxi, escaping from hunter fleet that need to recover these goods (with random BR & numbers). - That sell allow you to get a wreck localization where you'll get an item which should be brought to your admiralty in a certain laps of time. - The way back is supposed to face same hunter fleet(s) - Once in Admiralty you get very special admiralty reward in return (and/or other significant advantges?) Such long missions in War server would add interest within playerbase population. Even funnier in case these missions could also be offered in player group versions.
