  1. So glad I didn't participate. Wasn't even a real PvP 'tournament', just a bunch of boring 'duels'.
  2. 1) No pirate mechanics, not even a hint of what's coming down the pipe or when. Fancy perks, different frigates, raiding capabilities.... very very very few pirates enjoy sailing the big line ships into port battles. 2) Economy - Too focused around nation capitals. Goods should be spread out more and less centralized, you can basically do all the econ you want around places like KPR.... it's a zoo... but you go somewhere else and it is dead quiet. 3) Boarding mechanics are pretty boring.
  3. Looks like we got some more fanboys.
  4. So it's illegal to buy flags to attack ports... only to get ganked and lose the flag?
  5. I don't think the 1 first rate you sacrificed would agree. Anyone worth their salt could've butchered the pirate fleet easily with that firepower.
  6. Easier to cap one victory than deal with 6. Thanks for the help.
  7. Never seen the pirates get forced all the way back to mortimer. Always baracoa and cayman brac, coqui, sunbury, plymouth, plenty of ports.
  8. I take it higher level players can take smaller ships in and wreck some newbies?
  9. Problem is the letter to the king only looks at port ownership and port battles. Which is perfectly fine for nations but, doesn't look at all the PvP that goes on. Maybe a bit here and there about the ganking around the capitals and such. And I'll admit it'd be damn hard for any 1 player of any group to follow every little bit of combat that goes on 24/7 on the server, it'd be ludicrous to do so. I don't really see the gains of the americans over the pirates as any sort of loss. It's a pretty common theme if you look at it. Pirates attacked and held Jamaica, The british quit playing. The pirates went to the Americans. The americans quit playing, so the pirates went to the dutch. The dutch quit playing, now the pirates will go elsewhere. Ports schmorts. If your scoreboard is governed by however many ports you own, shouldn't play a pirate.
  10. Irony is all the QQ that I read on the forums..... and when the patch hits there'll be a freeport right outside KPR and guess who will be waiting for you?
  11. The late night crew waiting outside KPR.
  12. Poor pubbies outside KPR, learning to PvP the hard way.
  13. Just out of curiousity, does any other nation or clan bring 4 bellonas and a buncha belle boules outside Kingston and waits for a fight? I mean, you guys are on a PvP server but complain when someone brings a fight. Plenty of nations just run against even or better odds... to be entirely honest SORRY is the only clan i've ever seen that turns and actually engages superior numbers. And when it happens the other group takes a collateral dump and it's save yourselves. Knock'em all you want, but if you want PvP and action, pretty difficult to beat. Heck, listening to pirate nation chat when new people ask for a clan, everyone recommends SORRY because they actually do something and get aggressive... not lurk around in a few connies and trincs and flee when someone shows up with equal.. heaven forbid more numbers.
