I appreciate that the responses are not definitive and there may not be a definitive answer at this point, and the sarcastic responses provide nothing constructive and are a major point of frustration but that does not unto itself mitigate a wipe. Veteran players will probably receive some sort of reward for their time and effort in helping to develop the game, and having fore knowledge of the exam and the ability to complete the exam will give you a big boost in going forward with acceleration in rank and the granting of a ship for successful completion if there were to be a wipe. My point is that there have been a lot of complaints about wipes and players have threatened to quit but still they play on because they enjoy the game, but not to expect a wipe, is again a bit naive.
  2. Should all be wiped so everyone starts fresh like any new players. Your experience in play testing and having survived wipes and resets over the years will be your edge over new players. To think that this won't happen is a bit naive, but good luck with that...

  4. This is great news, and was not disillusioned into thinking that XP would NOT be wiped prior to release. It is a necessary aspect to the game and leveling the playing field for all players. With 4+K of hours in the game means that I have the requisite knowledge and experience to move up the food chain faster. I do not have to rely on "Alt" accounts to get all the materials and experience needed to enjoy the game. There is definitely a lot of crying and blubbering over a simple game...get over it...it is just another game...don't like it...move on. Looking forward to seeing the new aspects of the game.
  5. Port raids would not include the actual capture of the port...and the port would still remain neutral and would not become a national port. Those who participate in the raid would be given access to spoils that may be available from that port. Once the raid has ended that port would not be able to be raided for a cool down period of two to three days or even a week.
  6. The Port Battles on the PvE server would actually be raids....a player fleet attacks that ports AI fleet and if successful are able to raid the ports riches for a 24 hour period. After that they lose access to those riches. At the end of the 24 hour period a timer would start and that port could not be raided for an extended period such as a week, this would make it so that players would have raid different ports and not the same one every day. As well the "riches" received would be based upon the players participation/damage during the battle.
  7. Yes...please put PvE and trading and crafting out of it's misery...for the love of god. If there is to be NO content then just shoot it now. Just get it over with...this has gone on far too long...just launch the PvP game and get it over with. The game will sink or swim of its own volition.

Hi Admin...have been searching through the forums but haven't been able to find any posts.  Wanted to ask about the cannon reload reduction modules, skills and perks.  What is the maximum amount that we are able to reduce the reload time?  The setup I have for my ships shows 35% reduction in reload time, but was wondering if there is a cap to this.  Thank you for your time.

  9. It's a shame that you can't read...but with this response...I understand that your dimisnished cognitive abilities are severely limited and that those taxes for public school were mostly wasted. You should strongly consider a lesser game such as minecraft...they have all kinds of crayons that they can use to explain it to you.
  10. I actually hate the Wasa...played it a few times but don't care for it...if I have to play a 4th rate then I play an Aga...just like the game play. But "nerfing" because players can't deal with it...then they should be playing a game with simpler mechanics
  11. Out of all the people playing the game...no one in a 4th rate has killed a Wasa...I find that extremely hard to believe because there are some very good players in this game
  12. No requirement for a re-balancing...adapt the play style...is this such a hard concept for players to understand???

Understood...but to change the ship because players fail to adapt is just reinforcing that failure...players should improvise and adapt their playing skills in order to overcome any perceived shortcoming in their ship...what do they think when new technologies are introduced to the battlefield...LOL Just Saying!!!

  15. I know what you mean with the mix of the ships in the AI fleets...would love a bigger mixture of 1st to 3rd rate fleets. PvP AI fleets would be less as the whole premise would be players attacking each other.

  17. Would like to see more AI fleets to attack...too few 1500+ BR fleets for me to attack...anything less than 1000BR is not a match for single L'Ocean or Santi. Raids on ports would add more into the mix. I know that there are other suggested things that can be added for content.

So...we merge PvE Server with PvP Global...to address the lack of PvP on the Global server...this move will result in the reduction of one server and the population on the Global server will not go up as the PvE players will leave the game. The other option of merging the PvP servers is out of the question because of latency issues from different geographic locations and there are apparently two differing types of PvP styles... So what is wrong with leaving it as it stands??? You are still not going to get the PvP that you are looking for...as it stands right not those that want PvP have two server choices...anything else and you will further denigrate the server populations. Unfortunate but this the current trend.

Just going to throw this out there...but if you merge the PvE server with the PvP Global server you will lose ALL the players that are currently playing on the PvE server...this is based upon the global chat whenever there is a suggestion of eliminating the PvE environment.....so there will be nothing gained. You will have cut the number of servers down to 2 and PvP Global will still not have enough players to satisfy those who want the pure PvP experience. Most players on these two servers have one foot out the door towards another game (according to those I have talked to).

The only reason that I suggest the teleport option is because I hear from others on the forum that they don't want to spend hours sailing around looking for PvP....if you allow a teleport into a PvP zone it may give the casual PvP'r the incentive of getting into the action quicker. Does it take away the "ganking"...yes!!! When 10 pirates jump a basic cutter...how do you split up the 10 xp...LMAo
