After playing this game for nearly 800 hours in total i changed my vote. Like Prater said every person have a right to change their opinion so thats what i did. I see pirates going nowhere with current mechanics besides turning to another big fat nation. ( I was arguing this before and i have to apologize i didn't think this through ) Most of the time i find game more interesting when sailing in small ships, ganking in missions or attacking traders. Its is a shame that big ships does not understand it and trying to attack us in like 4 trincomalees with renomme/surprise support (i have lots of fun screens and videos of that) So my vote was raid ports only but give 4 ports that can not be captured to gather materials for craft. Remove all crafting ability for rank 6 ships and higher. Also i would say remove ability to sail those. Make only pirates can capture ships and use them. Remove all deliveries and make buildings available in free towns. Make 4 ports that can not be captured for building mines/foresters etc Because the way pirates mechanics works now. we might as well all play for Brits or Denmark That is my opinion after playing all this time as a pirate.

А вот хотел спросить про управление командой. на фрегате поставил всех на перезарядку при полных парусах уже , упала скорость на 3,5 узла при попутном ветре и неподнималась пока не врубил Sailing. Оно так и должно быть? (есть видео, скину как формат поменяю) . Я равагер команды хватает.

А мне как раз понравилось.Хоть какие то бои провели с Реверсом. Я давно хвалил всем Данию за то что бой дают всегда но по немножку вы тоже как бриты становитесь 10 v 2 Но за то половина Дачан на ренонми научились катать.. А то рейты до тринки .

Voted to change it back. Me being pirate need more free towns to be able to park when roaming in enemy waters. More free towns !

If buildings doesn't require lots of time to build.. don't see a problem . But you have a point there.

Lets just imagine for a second.. PvP1 EU server. Pirates will eliminate Spain.. some of them turns pirate others scattered among all nations and some leave. Than pirates eliminates another nation And again And again Pirates growing during these actions so theoretically it is possible. So what would you do when there is no more port battles at all? Make false peace again so pirates would give you few ports back to play with? We saw that already on PvP1. Everyone trying to fix it manually where is should be some safety switch against it. I understand that many of you would like to make your own/original game but i say we can ' borrow ' good things thats been made in other games. Same old good POTBS . They had these map wipes and it worked perfect. One nation had good go one month, reset and do it again. ( I took pirates just as an example )

Opposite .. They would need to capture ports all over again next month. With better tactics, better ships. Admin said it before.. There will be no XP or craft XP wipes anymore. Assets is one of the things that we get too easy in this game.

I did not know this. Looks like the DB too complicated for this game if one can't be done without other. I still remember we had some issues with keeping XP , craft XP if you want to swap nations. It did get resolved. So i am sure devs can work around this. And no. Asset wipes should take place only if major changes would be done in game. EDIT: On other hand i wouldn't even mind asset wipes until the game gets balanced. Thats how much i like this game

Until in-game politics, port battles, timers, flag planting/buying mechanics will be resolved i suggest have weekly/monthly map resets. Benefits: Everyone would know that it will happen so is we found something unbalanced we can fix it with the next wipe. No Nations would be eliminated and no more false peace agreements where small nations are forced into. More practice for PB strategies and money sink for flags. Less unhappy players . ....... Downside: None

One of the solutions is clan with 20+ members can buy flag (Leaders or officers ) until they find better way to solve this. Otherwise if player bought a game he can do with it what ever he wants. Including buying flag without asking anyones permission. I can buy like 10 flags now just for a laugh without ever confirming it with any pirate. And you will ban me for this?( no need to answer )

I am glad to inform you that we are growing in numbers and soon will be able to fulfill bigger contracts as well. I must add to what Chustler said. If you see all ports in red color you 9/10 will have to reinstall the game.

It is a shame that you are going to leave now mate. But if you will read this tomorrow (which i doubt seeing you have just 5 posts and just 2 days old in forums) i must say that we have all tools to play pirates as you like. Nobody and i really mean nobody can make you sail 3rd rate. You don't have to take part in any politics or port battles. You can sail solo or in small pirate group and attack even bigger ships then yours and succeed ( if anyone will want i can show the proof of it ) Your group can be hired to stop progressing one or another clan/nation/captain. Shame this has to be done by just trusting each other .. hope it will be implemented in game later. So you can play how ever you want and enjoy this game. All i can say for those who keeps saying that this game sucks because there is no pirating .. IT IS ALL UP TO YOU.

Everyone deserves a second chance. I would say go for that all nations who feels that it is better to be under Britains flag instead of choosing freedom. Which ever way it just means more action !

Ahoy captains ! I say we have 4th category. Pirates for hire. Or at least i am trying to make one. So i really hope you wouldn't mind if i advertise a bit in here We already have few contracts we are happy to fulfill and we doing it well. Still need more pirates that thinks alike . Yes we are a small group at the moment but we not getting involved in any politics or planned port battles and we sail where wind takes us until we get a contract. So we have all tools in this game to play for pirates as a lot of players thinks they should. It might not work for you but i have to offer join PvP1 pirates after big update. PvP1 map You can play as a nation or you can pick the style i did. Just sailing where ever my ship takes me
