  1. There is no fix. You get rewarded for going to the side-show event daily, by just doing damage. You can even farm AI for the reward. The downside is you get less than optimal ROE. It's working as intended.
  2. Just saying, eating shit and demanding sugar isn't a good strategy. You're playing the cheapest version of NA possible, don't expect much when people who are out on OW doing the important stuff are risking their ships without the benefit of getting points for damage.
  3. There's no reason to do this, or it would already be done. People craft for themselves, thanks to stringent limits, there is not big crafters to meet demand, everyone has to craft for themselves because unless you had 10 alts for each nation and another 1 alt paired with each then you aren't going to get enough production going to fill the demand of all major ports, which is likely why the market in 80% of the ports will be dry as a bone, no player goods whatsoever and only a handful of capitals and freeports will see actual markets.
  4. Patrols are a dead feature. You should be out patroling the area around your front line not some random Arena circle.
  5. We practically don't lol. The player market is terrible. When everyone's answer is "just craft your own" What are the actual crafters doing? Ya know the people who dedicate their time to production? The franchise owners? Resource and development guys? If you have to ask a regular player to fill out a port that has ran out of all it's cannons, that just means there was no production there in the first place. I wonder why.
  6. The OW could be a lot better that's for sure. I think it's pretty crazy that we've seen the utility in patrol-like battle areas, yet don't use them except for random arenas around the map. These circles could have RVR and Raid-like implications, used to pit 2 nations against each other in very focused area of the map for HUGE rewards to everyone involved, yet we keep them a side attraction, while people continue to sail aimlessly around looking for some pvp opportunity.
  7. Not that, but ships without Port bonuses should be cheaper.
  8. It says "if you delete this port you will loss everything in warehouse, docks, etc." Yet I can't delete that port because there's a basic cutter in it. I have to sail all the way there in a trader just to free up one of my outposts. The ship, along with the stuff should automatically be deleted without me having to sail there. It's a huge issue when you only get 8 outpost slots, you put one pretty far from your coast, then the port gets captured, and you're forced to sail back to the captured port. That should only be required if you want to retrieve your stuff, not if you're okay with it being deleted.
  9. He was fighting until the point where he got crew shocked. I guess the strategy with larger ships v smaller ones, tack immediately. It only takes 2 broadsides on the ass to pretty much end any fight, at least if you tack you'll only receive one.
  10. Just 10 ships. It's not meant to be second storage it's meant so crafters can have fluid delivery of ships to member of the clan.
  11. How cool would it be if Traders had some dedicated knowledge books for their ships?
  12. Here's one, tournament room. 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5. No ship loss, only against people in your own nation. Friendly duels.
  13. It's not a fair comparison. Arena combat is the combat instance. A lobby would be just the combat instance, nothing more required. Not out of the realm of our ramen shop.
  14. One rattlesnake and a cerb (still a worthy combat ship) that's like losing a game of chess without exchanging a single piece. Absolute domination.
  15. 10 slots. Building put in the ship, right click, designate ship to...: That person picks it up. It's not the end of the world.
  16. This game is a sandbox/arena-lite. A true sandbox is something like Gary's mod, Timesplitters or Halo forge mode. All games contain a sandbox, it's just a term for playing around with what's possible in what's provided Few games give you developer-style control over what you can do, those are actual sandbox games But yes he wants the duel room with battle set up, that would be a perfect feature for PVE.
  17. Yes it is. You don't just remove a huge feature like flags and set it aside as "hopeless" You're hopeless if you think there's no role for flags to play in the game. Obviously flags is the raid mechanic, we're just waiting for it.
  18. We don't even do that now. It's only for your own ship that crew are rendered yet for some reason on most ships there's only half the visible guns manned. I'm 99% sure mine and many other peoples computers can handle a few extra crewman on screen, OW AND in battle.
  19. More paint schemes, crew modeled fully on all ships (or partially by settings, or turn off completely) A hint on what the "operations" tab under missions is suppose to be would be nice.
  20. About a 2 fps hit on my system while something like AA takes 20fps off. I'll take the immersion of having ship crew modeled any day. Just look how much better ships look when their fully crewed, no gaps or empty cannons, that's how it should be all the time:
