  1. Does he have a name for his bat? I Was thinking Hartzy
  2. @Rabman He’s back in the bath salts again, you gotta do something this time.
  3. I'd prefer a better functioning game to better looking port buildings. But then again, I actually play the game.
  4. What incentive does @no one have to own a port of his own? He uses ports other pirate clans take, pay for and lose ships defending. He (and anyone) can just setup shop and put contracts or buy up the goods, piggybacking off the work of others. In a nutshell this is pretty much why RVR is dead. Why bother? The game is kind of half in / half out of a clan based system. Clans can orchestrate battles on their own, pay for the ports and receive what profits (if any) that they make. The nation can still use those ports without having to lift a finger. At least when ports were owned by the nation clans weren't losing money. We either need to ditch the clan based idea or commit to it 100%. This half in half out shit with 11 nations is not working.
  5. The real issue here is why can't we have one server 2-3 thousand players that provides plenty of overlap between timezones and has real diverse global oriented gameplay? Why aren't we pissed off that out of the 120-130k copies of this game sold can we only sustain 400-500 players on at max times on a good day? Back before the merge the servers rarely cracked 500. What is fundamentally wrong with this game that so many people stopped playing and found it too hard or too boring. Hint...it's not night flips. I used to think people were just waiting on until release to come back and play. Now I'm not so sure.
  6. I actually agree with Grafy here. In a nation based game money ports don’t work. If it was clan based it would.
  7. Obviously a nation based game is not working, so yes. Not sure about your contracts comment, the concept is simple enough. I want a clan to control who can place contracts in their ports and to be able to monopolize that resource should they choose. Clan X owns Carta. Everyone from that nation can place contracts including alts. There is almost no point to owning ports when you can leech off others.
  8. Yes I’m sure the toxicity on global is the reason why US players stopped playing en mass and reasons like getting kicked off to global server and RVR being restricted past 9pm EST on both PVP 1 and PVP 2 for almost a year and a half had nothing to do with it. Global is a cesspool at all times of the day.
  9. If you own and pay for the port you should be able to control who has access to it.
  10. The timer situation is still ideal. It would work fine if this game had more people.....400-450 on a good day is not a sustainable population regardless of which method we use. This game fizzled out before the great wipe, both Global and EU fizzled out individually and even now after the merge, the 1 server is fizzling out. Simply put, this game needs more content to keep people interested in it. Over the past couple of years the game has revised it's RVR methods, added a few more ships and tweaked a few things.....but ultimately the game has exactly the same level of content it had 2 years ago. It's boring, it's unimaginative and it's unsustainable. With a higher population timers will be more sustainable and even bullshit ports in the gulf would be viable. We just need people to play the game and therefor we need more content. More people and less nations.
  11. Players are peacocks. We like to show off our feathers.
  12. When you actually show up and participate in RVR rather than throw out opinions...I’d maybe start valuing yours. Move along no show Budgie!
  13. Yea I told Privateer to take it to the forums instead of waiting to catch Cid via in game PMs. He took it a bit too literal as I meant forum PMs
  14. No one will be using these ports for trading while Prussia has 3 ports smack in the middle of pirate territory. As I said, the ports gained are of little value and the port gained by the Prussia has some. Both sides have the ability to relax their timers a bit, which I think is the real value here. Pirates will also be neutralizing their only fleet that has the capability to beat prussia with any regularity. Seems a fair in my opinion.
  15. Ports returned are useless with the exception of Live oak from Mayaguana. It will however please the mort rats. It is worth mentioning that Grand Turk was purchased by XXXXX for 30 mil and they will be returning it as part of this deal. VCO will agree to the map listed by Privateer with or without the addition of Ragged/Saint Nic (we don't want them). I would like the following stipulations to the deal that was discussed between @Captain Cid and myself. Evening pirate clans will cease offensive operations against Prussia (neutralizing night flips). Prussia will cease operations against pirate ports. Prussia understands that the daytime pirates are not covered by these deals and operative outside of them. VCO/XXXXX will not assist the daytime pirates offensively against Prussia. Evening pirates and Prussia are at a bit of a stalemate and losing millions on timers for ports that don't matter. I'd prefer to just end this bullshit and move on to other things. We can't take their ports during their times and they can't beat us during our times.
  16. why don't we have a shot logger in game anymore?
  17. A smart cookie like you should be able to decipher where we hang out based off our timers. Maybe. VCO has a list of required outposts that all members must have. That list does not and did not contain... Pitts, Nipe, Parrot Cay, Mayaguana or Lorimers. Your web of lies and spies is incorrect I think. Can’t stump this Trump buddy! Anyway this thread is starting to smell a bit like desperation. I’m out. Please refer any further tin foil theories and/or attempts to justify ones self worth in a game to VCO’s chief role player @William Death. Thx
  18. We don’t use Pitts as a clan. Not one single port you took was a place we used or crafted out of. Unlike Williams Bay. 🙂 I see a screenshot with an LGV and 2 warships. I guess that equals 5? Can you provide screenshots of the white oak and if he was indeed cleaning out Pitts? What about the other 11 Indiamen we had there? What about the guy on the grassy knoll? If you want to meta game...cool. You don’t matter enough to me to care. See ya kiddo!
  19. Who would these self proclaimed server police be?
  20. Everyone ganks. A fine distinction could be made for players who actively hunt in capitals areas and then those players who intentionally take ports used by noobs to "punish" a nation for imagined slights. VCO does the former while other clans/players including Banished, do the latter. I've actually seen him try and pitt other pirate clans against VCO / XXXXX for retaliating in their time zone and intentionally try to divide the nation and ruin the experience for the "mort rats". I've been contacted by some of those players who will repeat lies that all similarly start with "Banished said this.....". If people want to meta-game on that level, that's fine. It's not my bag, I simply don't have the time or inclination to give that much of a shit about a video game. Not a single port taken was owned or used by VCO in Banished's little "punish chrissy" war and we've actually gained a white oak port in the process. Actually I've been kind hoping they'd take Bimini off our hands.... I've been to Pitt's Town once I think since going pirate and that was to help out at a PB that filled up with randos and I didn't even get in. I could also be wrong, but I don't think I've actually lost anything other than a requin in this little war aimed at punishing me. We've also not lost a PB VCO commanded against prussia....If I recall correctly. So if the war was aimed at punishing VCO, it's not accomplishing its goal. Really what it's about is taking territory in half full port battles from random fleets of mort rats and bragging about them on the forums. Unfortunately HASNA has to pay for that expense with timers. That's what Banished does and is only...and will only ever be capable of doing. He did pretty much the same thing to the US a few months ago as he's currently doing to the Pirates. As far as the east coast goes, we hunt there primarily because it's the largest block of players during the US prime time. And it's close. We have yet to take a single port away from the US since we left that nation and we plan to keep to that unless provoked. We're not out to punish their players or take away their territory because of one clan. When it's not US o'clock we can be found smoking cigars between Habana and Key West.
  21. Phaserburn died on the outside. We also got Silfarion in another battle where a few other prussians bailed on him in battle. Not really remarkable battles, but since we're dick measuring....
