  1. When sending item link to the chat, make the text color to be the item quality color. This is something really small to do, but from GUI perspective, would be much appreciated.
  2. Ability to set notes for your friends in the friend list. "This is the buddy who..." You should have a KOS list as well With notes as well... "This guy capped my Basic Cutter" And the KOS listed with different text color in the OW.
  3. I think the pirates at least will be encouraged to attack with multiple small ships against the big ones. Ganking will be part of the game mechanism in the future, for pirates at least. And if you do not understand, that you do not take that Vic out for a walk alone. I believe it was the owners fault, like seriously, losing the Vic was his way to learn it. ... Yes, the crew patch may actually fix this one. I think that if you surrender you should be allowed to keep your men. If you surrender a Vic, have no idea how this would work. Where are the men waiting you? Well, I suppose we will see that soon. ... The suicide mechanism is not cool, it is not realistic, and it does not make the game to be better in any possible way. Well, if all the sailors were Japanese, then it might be.
  4. I think crafting hours are good as those are. I often would like to have more hours, but I understand the reason. ...Well, maybe, the lower level you have, more hours you have as well Indeed, the opposite could work, just to help new players to be able to make more money, and level crafting faster. But I do not think that this would be definitely needed either.
  5. You can define to which town you want your clan warehouse. You can change the teleport to capital -> Teleport to "clan hq".
  6. In ship details, in equipment screen. You should see how many men your guns/sails need, and how many men you have.
  7. Chasers have less use, if the ship are positioned closer to each other, already at the beginning of the battle. Reinforcements, are coming from rather far. Once again, bring them closer and chasers are once again less important. I think that chasers are good as those are. The other ships could get other benefits. For example maybe the bow and stern could be simply stronger if there are no gun ports.
  8. So we are capping a ship. So ffs, it got on fire. It could have been also a shot to make it to leak. Accident most probably. So the guy takes all men from survival and ends up making a suicide. I think, that when the the situation on board looks grim enough, the men wont do what the captain says. Instead they will surrender and go in survival mode. There has been enough suicides in the game already.
  9. To put it simply. Boarding gameplay is extremely bad Rock-Paper-Scissors. I am rather sure that ~everybody hates the system we have. And most are using it because it is so ridiculously OP atm. Shooting other ships with cannon. Well, this one is very well done, I really like it, and I am sure most people like more from cannon fights than boarding mechanism. Imho, boarding can be even removed from the game, until better mechanism is invented. Or it can be simplified, to take X amount of time, and in the end who has better upgrades and bigger ship will win. I mean, until you create a mechanism that has something todo with skill etc. So if boarding will provide money and shooting does not. Boarding is something that you really have to do, to earn money. Hmm.. Why would I like to play the RPS boarding game? Actually I do not want to play that utter crap boarding, and because the cannon fights would turn to waste of time. It is rather hard to believe that this would benefit the game. Before removing gold from damage/kills/assists, devs probably should think twice before doing it. .... Edit. Instead of sinking the ships, maybe when the situation looks grim.. The crew surrenders, before it sinks.
  10. So in the future, we have to always have boarding setup to get money from battles? Gold boarding upgrades, will be even more important in the future I assume? edit.. Or we still get money from Kills/Assists?
  11. Ï really would like to see skill based boarding system, instead of what we have now. But as a temporary solutions, the boarding should take time and not be ~instant like it is atm. 2 ships made for war. The other one has marines, and because of that, the other war ship is unable to do anything. He just lost the battle, none of his fleet mates were able to come in his aid. Actually his fleet mates were not even able to react and the boarding was lost. ... Blind luck drops, that has something to do with it, but... Even if we all had exactly the same mods, I have to say that the boarding would still suck. Compared to the sailing, that is really well done in the game, the RPS is simply utter crap.
  12. So the marines got this preparation nerf, until some other fixes... I think the issue is not in preparation, but in the speed you board a ship. Also, the Rock-Paper-Scissors VS very cool skill based naval battles. It is kinda lame to have this RPS system in the game. You have a cannon fight, it takes rather long. You board a ship, it takes couple minutes. So in one tick you attack and the Marines kill, lets say 100-150 men. In the same time the fastest ship in the game can make a U turn, or something similar. I do not think it would be even physically possible for the men to jump to the other ship and kill 100 men in 1 minute. The issue in the end is not even the marines, just the lightning fast boarding combat. Sea battle, cannon fights, are well implemented in the game. Boarding is a joke. Why to elevate boarding? Now everyone is yelling after Gold Marines, it is like the most expensive upgrade/item in the game. You can trade 1-2 Santisimas to get your Gold Marines. So it should indicate rather clearly that boarding is broken, and badly. You should not be able to start boarding, if the enemy ship is not on your side. The time it takes to pull the enemy ship, should have far longer timer. The static time it takes to start the combat after pulling, should be longer. The static time to leave after successful boarding, or successful boarding defense, should be longer. Well fitted boarding vessel will start capping a ship in a fleet battle. The victims friends wont be even able to turn around and help the guy. So the boarding has to last multiple times longer than it is atm. The boarding winner, will also win most probably because he has better upgrades. The skill factor, is not very high in this one.
  13. Teleport to Capital. I think this should be "Teleport to Home", or something similar. The issue is, that tp-to-c makes everyone to make their home in the c. Because you can always teleport back there. With a small change, people will spread out better. And the meaning of capital will decrease. Higher change that the map gets populated, instead of just the capital.
  14. Your fleet is in a battle. You lose most of your men, and wont be able to sail your own ship back. I think your fleet members should be allowed to give you more men. If you cap a ship in a fleet, but none can sail it back. The same thing, it would be nice if you could crew it together.
  15. I think they could just slightly increase the sailing speed in OW.
  16. When waiting for a duel, do not block the interface. The same for Large/Small battle as well. Lock the ship that was selected to be used in the battle, but nothing else. Then waiting for a battle is not that tedious anymore. We can still browse shop/ships and craft, etc.
  17. It was maybe a bit too radical change. Regional capitals are ok with 1st rate. Deep water ports, maybe divide between 2, 3, 4 rates. In this way all the ships will be useful, and everyone can pick the one they like most.
  18. When you have max rank. XP after that will be turned in Gold. 1-to-1 rate is ok, but could be more. It is not going to be huge amount of money, but a small additional reward. Not the most urgent thing. Also, not the most time taking feature to implement.
  19. Ok, We were unable to see the difference but... Hethwill and one matey, got ~10% results. So I suppose it is then working.
  20. We had 2 frigates to test with. Can someone else test this? And verify that those are actually working? Not bugged or anything. Test in duel, so that you have 2 ships there, one with rigging and another without. ... edit. Speed gives you 1kn faster ship. If Rigging gives you 0.1 seconds faster sails, it is garbage. The same with Stiffness, it definitely needs a buff. It is basically there just to make 50% from crafted ships to be ~garbage.
  21. I am not sure but... We tested Rigging Quality, and I am not even sure if that is doing anything at all. If there is a bonus, it is very small I think. Someone knows how much faster your sails will be? To raise/drop/turn? It can be that it would need a small buff. ... We tested by taking two ships right next to each other, and turning the sails, and raise&drop. It was ~the same. Maybe I have misunderstood something. But if so what? If I have not misunderstood anything, I think Rigging should definitely get a buff.
  22. I think that right now, the ASAP priority goes for... Remove Port Battles from pirates Reset the map + Soft reset for players, so they can select their nation again. I am hearing increasing amount of hate from the current situation. ... If possible, add a small teleport cooldown at the same time.
  23. I assumed that everyone understood this. ... But the idea, that would make towns to be even more important, and a lot. Also the capital might not be the best place to build ships anymore, because the most expensive workers. This would effectively make people to spread out from the capitals. edit. Then everyone will build their shipyards in free towns. The worker salaries would get higher in free towns as well. Eventually, someone builds a shipyard in to a national town. He may lose his shipyard, but he has the cheapest possible place to build his ships. But indeed, some other nation actually may capture the port. The port will turn to be very important for this person/clan, and not just some other port that you do not care about. I believe that with this small change, the game, the PvP, will get far more interesting as well.
