    I'm on Anolytics side here, pretty sure he did hit the sails quite a few times. If you hit the gap between yard and sail, thats bad luck. If you hit it a second time, thats even more bad luck. But 8 or 9 times in a row? No way.

    I've heard this happening on TS as well lately, I think @Grundgemunkey had this happen to him when he was chasing someone.

    And if you insult someone in chat and not salute your officer in clan, you should get whipped, yeah ...

    Sits outside a nations capital for hours, not getting pvp. Complains about not getting pvp, still comes back to the same place next day. #navalactionlogic

    How about we call it a draw, @Jorge. You have capped some ports, we have capped some ports. Now the salt starts flowing again. Don't forget there are aways two sides of the coin - whoever is innocent may throw the first stone. I can only see this war becoming a very dirty war right now - I think we both agreed in the early stages that we don't want such a war again. It creates nothing but bad blood and drives people away from the game - on both sides. If you want, we can talk about the current situation on TS and try to find a solution for it.

    That was a carefully aimed broadside from point blank range, though. With actual back wheels removed from the carriage so the gunners could elevate the cannons high enought to even hit the mast.

    I don't think cosmetic only rewards will solve the problem. People identify themselves with it "Oh - a Pink Royale Victory? Thats cool!"

    I've just asked if you actually bother attacking in a offensive port battle, or just let the mortars farm points. It's no doubt effective, but very boring. If you want me to tell you how to beat yourself, I would have told you to just sink all your ships

    Ah the wind, the wind ... If you have the wind next time, please engage and not sit there for 30 minutes, doing nothing but firing a few mortarts, ok? Is just boring.

    While I like all the possible maneuvers, I am uncertain if I like the fast turning itself. It feels strange seeing a 2000ton 1st rate drifting around like that.

    It is still not possible to send mails to all clanmembers because the list gets cut off. @Ink mentioned a fix is in progess - is this still a thing or has it been abandoned?

    Lets put it this way .. I have seen some strange things in NA lately. This fight was one of them. And before you ask ... no, I am not going to talk about it further, because this is not the thread for it.

    There was a complete wipe in May. It was announced months ahead on Steam, here on the forums and ingame on server selection screen. Instructions on how to save your xp were also given. You didn't look at naval Action for 16 months, neither on steam or the forums and wonder that in a Early Access Game wipes occour?

    Good. Spain didn't show up neither for Las Sabinas or Triangles. So the first was "defended", the latter was captured. I think it was one guy from CH clan who went for triangles, because a bunch of SH guys was raising hostility at Selam when we wanted to leave for triangles. So we fought SH Clan over several battles across the whole evening. I think in total it was four battles (Hostility mission + 3 battles afterwards), where SH Clan suffered heavy losses. This screenshot is from the second battle, I think. One of the escaped Spanish ships was captured in a seperate battle and in the last battle, SH was becoming desperate and tagged Brits with a few Wasas + L'Hermione in fleet.

    Didn't know a single ship infront of a port is now considered a screening fleet.

    One can never have enough lenin in a battle.

    She loses a lot of speed when tacking, but you still turn through the wind in a reasonable amount of time, unlike the Endymion for example. Turning downwind with manual sailing makes every frigate look like an aircraft carrier, but the most amazing thing is the backward sailing. Went to -2.8kn at 90°. Just by turning my yards for backward sailing I made it to 45° (from 90°) without using any rudder. I love it. -3kn, keeping the ship on course with rudder, really amazing
