  1. As much as I hate to say the game's name on this forum but World of Warships actually has a pretty decent loading system. Requesting the ammo change once should see it changed after the next broadside and a double request will empty the cannon and then have the new order loaded in. Shouldn't be too problematic to implement. In addition I'd again like to promote my idea that we should be able to load decks individually (would really like to see my topdeck adjusted for chain at medium - long distance and load in grape in CQ (though kidna rendered useless right now with ball doing more crew damage). And carrying my wish even further - automatic swivel guns and musket fire from my marines please

I think you will find quite a few french Indiamans/LGVs who will complain quite a bit about my Rattlesnake and their smaller ships about my privateer(and sometimes Surprise but that is obviously not for the discussed region)! I might not hit 1st rates but 5th rates are def fair game. Lucky for the US I am their ally however this area is a serious threat that they won't be able to deal with should nations exploit it.
  3. Today the British fleet went for Port Antonio in response to a flag pulled on Carlisle. While we were tactically defeated in battle (congrats to the rats) our fleet was rudely stopped by what can only be considered a pirate alt account. After setting sail at Port Morant we suddenly found ourselves in battle against 3 AIs. The battle was initiated by 'PokeMyFace NO' of the PARK clan. He first claimed to not have been the one doing it (obviously bullshit) then said it is his right to start a battle wherever he wants but then left with the rest of the fleet leaving the ships he was supposedly so interested in behind untouched and continued sailing in the middle of our main fleet. He is a Master and Commander who sailed on a Bellona(probably to have a matchable BR). Up to the Port of Antonio he did not find another AI fleet to attack so I'm unable to tell whether he would've done it again. While I don't think it would've changed the outcome of the port battle this time such actions can only be that of a saboteur or spy/alt account.   4. 1) Ganking/The immense (perceived) focus on ganking - At least one person in a 5vs1 will after the third time not enjoy it and the impunity with which enemy fleets are by the mechanics able to operate so close to everybody's capital makes this a massive pain. Revenge fleets waste their time while the perpetrator is off to play some other game. 2) I really miss storm battles - I actually really enjoy battles where after 30mins both parties part ways either because noone could get an advantage or because a screening fleet has held the enemy in battle long enough and lacks the power to press on but can let the enemy go. Those battles are immensely realistic and fun and storm abttles are a thing especially in the area we play in as storms came about way faster and would surprise ongoing battles. Whether storm damage is introduced or not I don't really care - might be a bit much to maintain everything but the shooting difficulties and visuals I truely miss. Additional weather effects would be nice but there is no real rush. 3) Blueprints and Upgrades - I already stated this several times but udner no circumstances should ships be given to few and random people - while I actually got all the new ships it ended up being a pain for the crafters who got them which got bombarded with requests to the point where they got annoyed, inequality in port battles occured and generally the majority of crafters and palyers got left with nothing. Same goes for upgrades I think at least a few of the new ones should be added though I'd prefer to see all craftable (marines can be trained) so the inequalities disappear - not bringing marines is the traders fault - bringing green and fighting my gold isn't - its plain unfair for him and even I am starting to feel sorry for the guys that I hit like that. In addition the randomness in crafting shouldn't be - give me more sliders to determine the amount of upgrade slots and a speed or stiffness build please - often end up ahving to build ships several times if they are for a specific role. Additionals: 4) More ship storage/outposts - I partake in a lot of port battles, like to go out hunting and even sometiems trading - in the end most stuff will come to KPR at some point (i.e. when a port needs to evacuate) and I constantly end up bringing ships to far away outposts jsut for storage. Same for outposts - lots of places I need to be + the ones I want to be - I can enver fulfil both and end up sacrificing adventure for duty(port interests of the nation). 5) AI needs more activity/more ships - Would love to see i.e. the Indiaman on the open world as well and traders to have viable cargo inside of them. I really don't like some people's idea of player's only on the PvP server as I joined that one to have both not only PvP. So while I udnerstand that I have to live with palyers harassing my PvE occasionally I don't think the AI should be left behind in development. 6) Boarding is boring - Already said before - after the rush of excitement of turning somebody into the wind and getting a boarding going it is a borefest in comparison. 7) Non-combat stuff or even escorting a trader is not/barely rewarded - With the current economy I can't even ask to much of somebody who doesn't run around with silver or tobacco so it barely pays even though the cargo might be valuable to the person making the run. 8) Open world is pretty empty - Not only is there abrely any action in the border regions the open world itself got not much to show when going for a long trip tbh. 9) I miss demasting - It was a viable tactic often used in the time and sure why some used it to an annoying extent I think the nerf made it such an extreme rarity that I consider it to have gone too far. EDIT: 10) The circle of death - I actually like the circle - it shows the area in which ships still have an impact on the battle and it is a tactical decision and valid strategy to deny a fleet access to the main battle. However I think the circle would be better of force escaping people instead of a random death (up until the last 15 mins were it could be considered as the enemy fleet hunting you down to death) as it seems entirely unrealistic and often sees ships dying to a magical wall or even the magical water bounce tags. There are some more annoyances or ideas but those have time and I think I can easily wait for them to come into action.
  5. soooo any ETA on the patch? with the currently largely hybernating playerbase even I have reached the point of not wanting to risk my ships to the ever present gankers of KPR anymore as I struggle to get decent groups together even within my clan where a large amount of players has decided to hold off with anything but crafting and mini trade runs until the ports are wiped. A definite date might put the pop into 'full' inactivity for a few days or a week but it would stop the frustration of active players when seeing their nation not being able to field a fleet for a port defense next to the capital.

The Treaty of Tordesillas is pretty much just a papal decree (from a rather useless one at that) it had fuck all true legal binding and wasn't actually enforced - it was a voluntary agreement that was nonetheless constantly broken (look at the size of Brazil!!!) and Portugal was a major seafaring power at least in the early times but still durign the timeframe of this game. A simple example for that was the evacuation of the entire Portuguese court towards Brazil when French forces invaded (though with some help of the British). In the South of the Americas was a major Portuguese/later Brazilian military presence and their traders were active all the way up to North America as the Treaty of Tordesillas doesn't actually govern naval movements and became useless as soon as other powers entered the Americas - quite honestly I never understood why the Neutral nation wasn't just Portugal in the first place - understandably not 100% neutral but their interests in the North were only of trade.
  7. Tbh I'm a bit worried about the delayed deployment of the patch. While I will consider it as an attempt to provide top quality there are currently a significant number of players inactive/semiactive waiting for the new patch. We struggle to field full fleets lately due to this and it doesn't really get better with more waiting time. Maybe a map/port battle only deployment ahead of the rest might help but obviously I will fully accept and understand a delay if this for quality reasons.

  13. 1. Why does everybody keep spelling my name with a 'd' - this is the 5th time somebody does this... 2. Do not quote me in a supposed hater list! - Apart from this post I have no personal problem with Pellasgos and he has been a good connection to those who fight in the west against the Spanish (whether you consider him a valid diplomat or battle commander I seriously don't care about). 3. My problem lies with your nation and its inner problems not any captains in particular! 4. Stop writing me mails about your inner situation! - Though I offer to help mediate should you desire to fix this I don't care about your inner problems and who is supposedly right until that happens. My offer still stands however and I seriously suggest you get this sorted out until the new map hits us or we as an alliance will have a crappy start into the day.
  14. Considering you are a moderator I would suggest you stand out from the crowd and abstain from such posts no matter the background story! To Pellasgos: As I already said in my post - I don't care about the posts you make and with what intention but I want to see a united nation again - this goes for both sides! I am British captain and I want to support you but I struggle to commit when having to deal with this split civil war bullshit - SORT IT OUT BOTH OF YOU!!! (Again I will offer my help in doing so should you require help)

My personal opinion of this post aside: pellasgos has been a very active fighter and diplomat and at elast in the dealings with the Brits done mroe then anybody else - maybe the Dutch Nation should first sort itself out! We Brits have assisted you but it becomes increasingly annoying to deal with two parties in your nation which fight each other verbally and organisation wise over and over again and quite honestly I'm getting fed up with it. Don't decry a very active player on the forums who has represented his half of the Dutch nation more then you guys just because you have a personal problem with him! This goes for other players as well - I have no interest in getting Dutch players tell me that I'm helping on the wrong end of the map just because I'm helping the 'wrong' faction. As for my and probably a few other guys ships - you can have my help again once you have sorted yourself out - I have no interest in being drawn into your little civil war and loose my ships for such a bullshit. For a strong ally (that doesn't mean a winning ally!!!) I will always step up no matter the cost or his situation! Edit: P.S.: If you guys require mediators between your inner nation factions I'm sure the British nation would help you out and let you host talks on our Nation TS aka neutral grounds and I for one would volunteer to be a be a mediator as I prefer to stand aside unified allies and not a petty squabble of loud voices.

Which leads me to the far more important question of: WHY THE FUCK DID THEY NOT FIND THEM AGAIN - clearly terrorists are already in possession of a nuclear device.   20. Let's not drag religion in here or I'll post my essay on the Prosperity Gospel into this forum and a whole lot of people are gonna be really butthurt then. So you're saying that the nation would profit from having the home ports constantly being under attack? We would profit from ganker fleets not being intercepted by the clans (and some valiant pubbies)? Just because some people - this is clearly not all - say they have no intention of destroying us doesn't mean they won't attack us - they could take port morant and let us take it back right away - wouldn't destroy us but still be an immense pain for our players! Make no mistake - they might not intend to destroy us but they still need ports to attack - and they will find them! And from personal experience I can tell you sitting around to defend home ports is no real fun - only becomes fun when you only got Jamaica left but that means the new palyers wont enjoy the game and leave again!

I will actually beat on those pubbies that cry for everything being done their way and defenses and patrols being put up to help them but fail to participate in doing this for them and still cry should stuff go wrong - I ahve no respect for them nor do I feel like I should consider them part of my nation - they are surviving on my and other players merits - that doesnt entitle them to anything BTW: Even if any nation gets reduced to one port - I could rebuild a full first rate fleet in a week or less on my own. I'm not the only one in my clan able to do that. I'm sure we are not the only clan able to do that. For once I agree with Tenakha - we can jsut endlessly respawn we only loose the new players - not good for the game and we'd still not be contained for long. So there is absolutely no point in 1 porting a nation.
  24. Several points to address here! 1. I am fully aware who the battle and war leaders and our diplo leaders are at least those that are active and that I am wiling to follow! 2. Reducing a nation to 1 port is a pain in the arse to do and hold and the enemy nation will also only suffer which will effect the game itself - useless and should've been long past discussion! I agree though there were a few guys in SPain would recognized that and acted gracefully and others who managed to piss ff a lot of people who thought it a disgraceful behaviour aggrevating people needlessly from a delusional position (I have about 5 names for that!) 3.This is a wargame - there are ups, there are downs - deal with it! 4. We never had any intention of going to the north side of Cuba - that is US interest anyway and would just uselessly bind forces. - This was known before the campaign and treaty so you shouldn't ahve been partaking if you didn't like it! 5. The reason the Spanish managed to rbeak free was a combination of them executing a ncie maneveur (well done) and us having some ports without a timer (I'd like to hang those muppets^^) 6. I was one of the guys effectively active every night/day - I do not recall your name - earn your right to bitch first!!! 7. Those that moan are the ones who fight and are tired of being responsible for it every night - it might surprise you but I'd like to do some PvE occasionally! 8. Peace talks are as much a part of the game as any other thing - though player made it helps the game and also offers an additional aspect to it! 9. Again I know the leaders and they had very well thought of and also executed plans - if you don't like to follow that it is your choice - BUT LEAVE US TO IT THEN - you didnt earn bragging or bitching rights! 10. The Dutch nation has a bunch of internal problems right now which shall not be mentioned any further here - until they resolve this the British nation has a hard time actually helping them which partially lead to the enemy coalitions success!
