  1. It is too easy atm for sure for both sides actually. I made a rather long winded post about it a while ago, I'll see if I can find it.
  2. Pop pooed on even? That's some tough shit right there. I did not notice though I do remember having read about it before now. I guess there are pooers in every forum.
  3. You should also put your cannons on hold fire when they don't have anything to shoot at to avoid them burning through your supplies.
  4. Alresdy done along with a more quit keyboard :). No voice in this one though but there are discussions with col_kelly instead.
  5. Perhaps this can inspire you a bit Numbers went crazy on the beta and col Kelly sent me his save challenging me to win it.
  6. That's true and also includes all of the officers. Politics also gives more men so the question is if it's worth it to have more stuff with out the men to give it to.
  7. Rendezvous is right after in the Playlist.
  8. Yes, I've been delaying that for too long. Coming up after new years, pinky swear.
  9. Would be cool to have this reflected in game and also different gun animations for the various batteries depending on the type used.
  10. Oh go for the left entrench mention first, most vulnerable one.
  11. It's completely gone unfortunately. You can find the screenshots on my profile in steam. If you choose to go for prospect Hill, you can send 6-7 brigades as a distracting corps to the very edge of the map at the south and draw the AI forces there. Keep everyone else in reserve. Then once the engagement start close to the vp, you can gate crash the center and go for the small clearing and get behind them at the Vp. Maryes Heights can be taken 1 entrenchment at a time, storm in to melee with as many brigades as possible. If you didn't get for prospect Hill, you should have stationed your troops to the north instead and when the map opens up you can now make a combined assault on telegraph road from the front and flank
  12. The guide doesn't function since the map had to be cut in pieces due to performance issues, so I deleted it
  13. He's talking about Antietam. For hard the numbers seem about right.
  14. I don't know if it's random or not actually but either way I would like to be able to choose his skill myself too.
  15. I don't know that I agree the campaign is and will be short. It takes 10-15 hours to complete the campaign now depending on how much you fast forward. There are still battles to come that take several days so the last ones will take much longer than the current ones (Gettysburg fx.). I'd say about 25-35 hours needed to complete the campaign once it has been completed. The side missions are a mix of historical and made up battles I think. I know some of them happened but if they happened as represented I don't know. Perryville and South Mountain were battles.
  16. Please include a screenshot. Perhaps because you didn't put the corps in to the mandatory spots. The two highlighted once with a + in them.
  17. Yep, but he thinks those are the actual numbers of the battle so I just pointed that out.. Some way of showing the second day forces wouldn't be so bad.
  18. This is for the first engagement the night before the real attack. You won't be having 60.000 on the field against 10.000. There'll be some 100.000 the other next day of them
  19. The normal version of the game gives you this. The historical setting and In theory at least, an AI that plays fair by numbers and veterancy. The goal, from what they've said, is to make the AI as good as possible against human players. The difficulty settings then exists for those who either can't compete with the AI and for those for whom an Ai will never truly challenge without bonuses, which won't happen for many years I suspect. Not until you make a learning AI anyway at which point we might all have to play on easy. No, I don't want an endless stream of dlc, and I certainly don't want them to go total war style on us.
  20. Maybe but it's the same in almost every strategy game. Total war AI simply gets bonus stats and stack spam, CkIi the AI gets more money and army spam. Across the board it's like that. I think it's good that easy doesn't face a dumbed down version of the AI but just less numbers to make it more manageable.
  21. Don't forget that it's for legendary mode only and for those who want to be challenged this way. The other difficulties remain the same. The AI is the same for all levels.
  22. Not sure if you mean in game or not now. In game no, Irl? Pretty sure they died like flies.
  23. I own naval action but never really got in to it. Perhaps you can point me to a good place to read some guides about what even to do at first? From what I'm reading the game is really deep and has a lot of options but the start is just a ship rocking in the sea and a chat full of people. I almost gave up at once :). It seems very serious too somehow with tribunals, court verdicts and bans for bad and unsportsmanlike behavior.
