  1. Skirmishers are particularly vulnerable but they wont be completely destroyed. 4-5 died pr. second of melee when on low moral against Archer in single player.
  2. There will be proper melee damage in the next patch, where you should expect things to run much more smoothly.
  3. I think a cool feature in a campaign map would be public opinion. Granted that it would be almost impossible to defeat the yankees because of numbers and artillery, the goal would then be for the South to sway the northern public opinion so much that it would demand a peace treaty. This could be done by invading northern territory, sacking cities perhaps and obviously defeating Union armies with added bonuses if it's on Union soil
  4. I doubt the tilt-shift will return any time soon. It was weird too honestly. But as I understood it, it has issues with the night time battles too and would require new code to write. There wont be any new code written for this announced last of patches to come for UGG: Gettysburg so it seems out to me.
  5. On this note, I'd like the arrow to be highlighted if you click on a unit. If there are lot of units moving the same way, wanting to check up on one is currently very difficult. If it were highlighted some how, it would be much easier to tell where it's going.
  6. Multiplayer has it's issues like any game would but it's fairly balanced and skill will win the day in most of the grand scenarios except Pickett's charge that's pretty much impossible as confederates - which it should be. Sun Tzu says it well: "Know you enemy and know yourself and you'll never lose a battle". It holds fairly true in this game in multiplayer. Confederates can be very strong. You might be surprised at the force they overwhelm your lines with. I'll show you Devil's Den if you like, it's especially obvious there against an unprepared opponent.
  7. You need to trye out multiplayer.. it plays out much differently there. I have no constructive feedback to offer on the AI other than it will never play as a human does which is why MP is much more interesting. Friend me if you like and we can play a few matches.
  8. Actually it was Lumpy . But I understand if it is too much work.
  9. :/. I was really looking forward to that though. How about a multiplayer map of the entire battlefield, playing out the entire day. That would be just as well
  10. You keep saying the union is somehow very powerful and can provide a strong defence.. This isnt my impression at all. Please add me on Steam and we can play a few games.
  11. @Aggresissive_kunst I've seen you a few times comment your opinion about the balance between confederates and union and I keep thinking I have read your posts wrong but you seem again and again to imply that the union is in a good place. For example here you are talking about Chance to Change History as if the Union has a chance against a competent player. I very strongly disagree. I would much like it if you added me on Steam, I cant seem to find you. The name is Koro. The problems I see are mostly evident in Devil's Den, Benner's Hill and Chance to Change History, but the confederates are currently very strong in any scenario if used to their full potential. The problems I see are outlined by me and Commander Straker in a post on the steam forum called "It's time to talk about... Devil's Den". You might have to go back a few pages to find it - you can also find me there and add me if you like. Then we can play a few games and I'll show you the problems other people are talking about here too.
