  1. I think that is caused by one of the modules being from "before" a patch and the other from "after". So they made a change and that change wasn't applied to existing modules. - Atleast that is my theory for now (So Inigo has the "old - Extra fireproof coating" which was 20% and Dutchdutchery has the "New - Extra Fireproof coating" which is 12%.) And like other's have mentioned, it's hard to keep a 100% updated list;
  2. Does this mean that we, in the future, shouldn't be allowed more options?
  3. Are you sure about the privateer Booyah? ^^
  4. Erhh why? - I like being able to also go to 3rd person just to take a look at my ship (In the OW as well, even the simplified model's are great).
  5. Personally i am zoomed in as close to the deck as possible when in a battle. It feels much more immersive. - I'm talking about OW and Battle Instances. - - And ofcourse, it's nothing more than an "option" and you won't have to use it if you don't like it ^^
  6. From what i remember this is also being worked on but again, other things are prioritized at the moment. ^^
  7. In all honesty - I'd love 2-3 different deck views (Front, Mid, Back) along with what we already have. Not only in OW but also in the Battle Instances. I think it adds immersion as well Buoyancy is a WIP and it's constantly getting better. (Tester's who got into OW before me can confirm this). ^^ I believe the Dev's are working on the Spyglass stuff for OW (Someone else can elaborate - I don't exactly remember what the conclusion was the last time we discussed this). - For now there is more important stuff for the dev's to focus on but i hope these thing's are added as well. ^^
  8. And you will be able to have that. As a lone player you ofcourse wouldn't have the need to suddenly take a three hour trip to defend your fleet's homeport etc.. ^^
  9. The timer could be dependant on distance in some way. - I'm just afraid of the TP mechanism's taking away the "bigger strategical aspect" of the game (Eg. The long distances and travel times). ^^
  10. I do think it will happen. It already have happened several times. And that's with 50 players online. Another example.. - It would allow every single TDA player to magically pop up in a chosen location to "roflstomp" any incoming/attacking forces. This would mean that "splitting" the fleet suddenly doesn't have any strategical value since you would, in theory, be able to log off at any given neutral/allied port so long as you keep 10k gold in your purse to buy an outpost. I'm not against "more action" but that is why we will have the skirmish room is it not?.. In the open world, Should i NOT miss the battle given that i am actually on the other side of carribbean? Or do you actually think it's fair that i would be able to simply put up an outpost and "Teleport" (Log out, log in) to an outpost which might happen to be minutes away from where the battle is taking place? Oh, and btw. why would i sail my "bathtub" from one location to another when i have one at my destination already? I would probably take a fast frigate or a fast fore-and-aft vessel for such trips.
  11. So in a hypothetical situation. If i had Santi's at all my outpost's (spread across the map). I am at outpost A, i get a report of an enemy fleet at outpost C. I log off and spawn in outpost C. Take my Santi. Meet the enemy. - During this battle i get a new report of another enemy fleet at outpost D. - I finish the current battle ASAP and log off. I now login in outpost D, take my santi, meet the enemy. Rinse and repeat? I'm not sure if i explained myself correctly but my point is that this system seems easily exploitable..
  12. Nevermind Wind, i took a closer look. It was definitely not it. Found a model which looks very similar in the front (The middle one) - No need to tease Bungee - - Found it on Threedecks i think, still, no more information than before though. http://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=show_ship&id=17503 - - - Found a list of Swedish Frigates and on it is two frigates by the name "By Chapman". One launched in 1803 and the other in 1830. The first one was a 40 gun frigate and the second a 36 gun. How reliable this information is, i have no idea. http://www.bruzelius.info/Nautica/Ships/War/SE/memosefr.html
  13. No problem, i forgot to confirm. - A 1000 crew is default for the Rear Admiral Rank. (Checked on Santissima).
  14. - Agreed. This is definitely needed. I think experimenting with actual "three way battles" is a fine idea. It will be interesting to see how it works out.
  15. Reached Rear Admiral just now. - Rear Admiral is currently the last rank. From the first looks of it the default crew size as Rear Admiral is 1000 Crew. I'll confirm later. Cheers.
  16. Is this the way to remove "Ship-blisters" and similar? Prater had some growing on the side of his ship so i took the honour of removing them for him!
  17. More Swedes? Don't we have enough? - I suggest you roll with Denmark-Norway instead! Tænker blot at det bliver lidt kedeligt hvis alle de nordiske spillere melder sig under den svenske fane! ^^
  18. Hey Dom. So, as far as i can tell a Commodore has 650 crew. I'm in a Bell and i've maxed it out so i'll have to get a Victory to check for sure. But i think you can go ahead and add it. ^^
  19. Nice screenies KM! ^^ - We've had the same problem in TDA. It makes sailing with smaller ships a pita...!
  20. Agree on the announcement/email stuff. - It's stickied in this very subforum. GO FIND IT YOURSELF YOU LAZY DOG!... (Just kidding, here mate; Open World NDA)
  21. I wouldn't worry about that too much atm. I recall a comment from admin saying the crew visuals would be improved in the long rung. But it's not a priority atm.
