Americans!  Join the United States Navy!
Be part of its early history.  Fight in its glorious battles for Liberty, Glory and Honor!
Do not join the Tories or the Criminals.
Only a hangman's noose lies in wait for YOU down that path!
To join the British is to be a supporter of Tyranny and to join the Pirates is to be a supporter of Thievery, Rape and Murder.

Other Nationalities, there is room for you too!  During the late 1700s and early 1800s, the United States Navy and the Private Maritime Commerce fleet were some of the most diverse organizations in the world, comprising sailors from all over the world.  Whether you are British, Canadian, Irish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Dutch, Russian, etc, etc, you are welcome among our ranks just as your fore-fathers were welcome in our Navy during the Napoleonic period.

There are several US Fleets you can join.

Tattered Flags [TF] is the largest US Fleet and a force to be reckoned with!  It has the honor of being the First Naval Action Society.  They host the nation's Team Speak.
The Decatur Armada [TDA] is an energetic, elite PVP group that has been around since the very earliest testing phases.  Their founding members are an international group of PVP guys that really enjoyed fighting together, and got together to fight and have fun!  Applications are being selectively accepted.
Boston Sea Party [bSP] is a new group.  Currently I don't know anything about them but they might be a good group to check out.

Seek and Destroy [sND]  is a new US Privateer Fleet put together by Wind.  They are a pvp, group oriented fleet and have history in POTBS.

John Paul's Privateers [JPP] is a new US fleet formed by Verhuer and Dotson.  They are easy going and more than willing to pull their weight in the nation's activities.
White and Red [WAR] Is a Polish Group put together by Bart Smith.

There are also other fleets who have not yet announced anything in the forums.  Ask in nation chat in game if there are any US Fleets recruiting.  Examples:  German Consortium, Sturmgrenadiers, M G, AO, WO, FF and others.

It is our Duty to fight for the Forces of Liberty and to Stop the Spread of Tyranny that is consuming the world in the form of the British Empire and the Anarchy that follows in the wake of the Pirate advance.

Organize, work together, fight and have fun!  Glory and Honor Awaits!

This post is not meant to be offensive or nationalistic in real life but to be US propaganda in the "spirit of the game."
TDA and TF has members from all over the world and welcomes all nationalities no matter who you are.
Nationalism outside of the "spirit of the game" is not acceptable.

The United States has a proud early Naval History. Americans, you don't need to join the Royal Navy or the Pirates, relive the glory of our early years that insured the survival of our nation!

Captain Thomas Boyle and Chasseur defeat HMS St. Lawrence off La Habanna, Cuba

[Thomas Boyle], first as the commander of the schooner Comet, of 14 guns, and then in the Chasseur, of 12, during that war captured more than 70 sail of British vessels, 32 of which were equal to him in force, and 18 superior.

He met and beat off a Portuguese man-of –war, carrying 20 32-pounders, convoying three British vessels, killing her first lieutenant and five men, and wounding many more, capturing two of the three British vessels, one carrying 14 guns and the other 10 guns.

Also, he captured the ship Hope, with 14 guns. Soon after he met and captured the ships Atlantic and James, in company, carrying 20 guns; Eclipse, 14 guns; ship John, 14; London Packet, 12; Henry, 10; Alexander, 10; Domincco Packet, 10, and brig Industry, of 10 guns.

On 26 th of February, 1815, he fell in with and captured, after a desperate fight of 14 minutes, his Britannic Majesty’s schooner St.Lawrence, mounting 15 guns, 4 and 12-pound carronades, and a long nine, commanded by Lieut. James E. Gordon, royal navy, with a complement of 75 men and a number of soldiers, marines and several naval officers (passengers) on board. The Chasseur lost but 5 killed and 8 wounded. The St.Lawrence had 15 killed and 23 wounded.

All this, and much more, was done by my late lamented husband, and neither he nor I have ever received or asked anything at the hands of government; and now at the age of 80, and poor, I respectfully solicit such measure of relief as you in your wisdom may think proper to grant.

Decatur's Daring Assault in Tripoli Harbor

Nelson reportedly dubbed it, "one of the most bold and daring acts of the age."

The American naval tradition is strong.  We do not rely on impressment - men sign a contract for a set period of time.  We do not need to lock people in the hold when we make port, for our sailors are volunteers.  Our vessels are stronger for the strength of our sailors and our raw materials.

Don't be a slave to the British aristocracy and be ruled by despots and tyrants forcing you to sail against your will and fight for the betterment of only the select few who call themselves "Lords"!  Meanwhile doing their damnedest to oppress your God given rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!

Choose Freedom;  Sail for the United States of America!   Where a Man is what he makes of his own life and no "Lord" rules his fate!

Fight for Liberty against the Tyrants of the world that only want to deny you the right to wealth, health, and happiness.  Fight for the Right of Men to choose their own government and rule themselves.  Fight the Oppression that is the British Scourge spreading around the world like a plague.

I mean, for God's sakes men, their Beer is warm!

Sail for the United States of America and be a Free Man!

Tried taking the fight to the pirates but the cowardly dog ran and got 3 of his clan mates to hunt me down.

I just took a trader ship and had one hit me thinking I might of been a weak target since I was taking ship and cargo back to port.   My fleet cutter escort sunk him.   It was fun to watch and direct.  This folks is why I'm a privateer.   Screw those bloody pirates.

Is this PVP only? Any PVE clans under the USN ? Haven't dabbled much in PVP yet.

Well, this thread is specifically for the PvP1 server.  I don't know if there are any clans on the PvE server.  That being said, not all clans are strictly PvP focused.  Best to check them out for yourself. ;)

I get that the group was originally established on the PvP1 server, I just wasn't sure if any of the clans within the guild had branched into PVE or if a PVE clan is even viable.
