asmall thing i would love to see is those red line that show where guns and torps are aiming i would love to see some different colors for main secondary and torps i some times forget whats what and please make them abit more clear to see on the ocean ps still would love to see what turrets has amount of ammo like a turrets has 256 ammo ap and 138 he and b turrets has 200 he and 135 ap and so on and what side of 2inch secondary is realoding same with torps if anyone can explain it better them me feel welcome to do

turret specific ammo isn't a thing.

The salvo system is a bit wonky which might introduce that illusion, but it isn't a thing.  Ammo is shared by all guns of the type.

Not trying to be impatient, but I thought I saw the next build was possibly being released this week in the beta branch. Did I read that right?

No you did not, it was supposed to be released last week in beta branch.

I dunno where I ought to post this, but as a suggestion I think being able to set up our divisions prior to battle and a toggle button to lock divisions would be great! It drives me up the wall when I am navigating through my fleet in battle and divisions merge randomly because I... Well I do not understand what the heck I clicked and there doesn't seem to be a rhyme, reason or pattern to it.

I really hope they release 1.06 soon. With current state of campaign it get quite boring. Especially if you nail your enemy fast they just surrender.

But they should add possibility to capitulate one of your enemy countries and to receive some of their ships as compesation but that war continue with other nations you are at war and i really hope they plan to add US and Japan to expand the campaigns a little.

I have seen that you shouldn't form fleets. when you do, it is going to throw half of her ships against your small ship formation, and if you manage to get out victorious, yes they gonna surrender in the first 3-4 months from the start. Instead i usually just use the normal sea contol option in the fleet tab, and only move ships port to port if needed. This way, the game generates much smaller battles, where the tonnage is equal on both sides. For me it's much less stressful. Also, when they want to surrender, it's better to accept them. If you don't, they usually fight only 1-2 more months then go bankrupt which results in the The end window. When you accept the "peace", they go in a bugged state that you dont go to a big major fight whith that nation, rather they usually join their closest allied nation with their remaining ships, or only generate 1dd vs 1dd escort missions or something like that.

I hope this bug gets checked, becouse i want to create little fleets (1cl + 1-2dd) for escort or raiding porpuses, but they won't allow me. (by that i mean for example when i'm attacking with such a force, instead of enemy using similar number of light ships, they will go against me with 4bb+8something else, so the only logical thing is running......don't get me wrong, i wouldn't have a problem if sometimes my only option is running if i don't want to lose ships, but i expect that thiese situations would only happen in 1/6 times)

Also want to note  that using ballistic SAP is the best ammo for AP (for guns bigger then 250mm). The stronger AP shells, like capped ballistic AP 1-2, while have very good penetration, is also their downfall. They usually either overpen, or ricochet, resoulting very little to 0 damage (20%pen, 40%overpen, 40%ricochet or blocked). Enemy likes to put less then 100mm armour on their ships, and SAP sticks to them like honey on bread (50%pen,30% those half pens which still does a lot of dmg, 20% blocked or overpen) Of course thiese numbers are just what i see in battles, and depends from a lot of thing, not statistically relevant. I'm just writing this as a observation. Someone mentioned how strong HE is. I too was using HE way more often then those super AP shells before, becouse they are more reliable, SAP is very similar to HE, but almost 2x more penetraion.

Can i comment on the multiplayer as well? I don't want to see player vs player game, but coop battles. Especially in the big battles where you have to manage 15 or more of your ships. I would love to see that with my friend we can create like 2 groups sorrounding the enemy, and focusing only on our "division". Managing angleing, ammo usaige, torpedo beating, formation is fun for less then 6-8 ship. More than 12-15 it becomes very stressful, even on 1x speed. Most of the gameplay is flying over the sea in birdeye view checking for torpedoes since if i don't catch them with the little exclamation mark, they are basicly invisible. Which happens a lot since you can't keep this much ship in one view. I don't think the devs should copy wows, because NOT seeing torpedoes is realistical, But somethimes i really wish that spotted torpedos would be marked with a permanent colorful triangle like in wows...( even more relevant for my own torpedoes, the AI loves friendly fire)

Otherwise i love the game, and i'm very excited for the 1.06 release :) take your time, no need to hurry.

I do wish they would focus on adding more unique hulls to the game. It's unfortunate that they seem to believe that just one per update is enough- when updates take 3-4 months to come out and the game rapidly becomes dull when you have to create the same ships over and over again.

In fairness, the last update they added like 58 new hulls. I predict they will add a fair few new hulls with this one too - in fact if you read the OP in this thread the last sentence about new hulls is "More hulls will be added"

By "new hulls" you mean "rescaled old hulls". It's not "new" hulls that I would like- it's "unique" hulls, i.e. the ones they specifically name (such as Danton with this new update).

There’s alot more to distributing hulls, each has to have their parameters setup to their nation and class. Every fixing point has to be setup to suit its database components, including weight slider, speed range and its weight increases, bulkhead parameters, beam calc's etc. etc. etc. just go down the list to see how many there are. And all the stuff we don't see, centre of gravity, buoyancy etc.

You may think some look the same/simple but they are all very very different, parameter-wise.

When will there be a way to put different classes of ships in the same fleet in custom battle. Example would be a custom battle with 6bb vs 6bb having 2 yamato builds and 4 kongo builds in the same fleet on my side. Rn i can only have 6 of the same build of bb.

If you have two same hulls, one of 35 thousand and one 40000 thousand, yes difference is only those 5000 tons, but they actually look the same. Sure ship of 35000 tons is not the same as that of 40000 but still they look the same. How many ships truly you can recreate today, perhaps few, Littorio, Bismarck, Yamato, Von der Tann, perhaps even Nelson (partiary) but let say dreadnoughts for germany or any other nation circa 1920 they all look the same only different displacement.

As i always say, more hulls, more superstructures, more funnels, more guns, and those to be accurate historically, if you make them historically accurate to create real ship then you can add some modifications to them easly.

This has just completely missed the point entirely. It's so far off the mark it's landed in the next time zone.

If you’re so unhappy with 58 new hulls, why do you even bother posting, is it to troll?
