New rewards system

I have been thinking and after many hours of play I believe that the current rewards system needs a small rebalancing to enhance the aspects of PvP. For this I propose that the following rewards be changed on the war server in the following patches:
  1. Change the PvP death count: the kill does not matter, only the damage you do after the sinking. If you cause 70% of the damage, your count increases by 0.7, if you cause 10% damage, your count increases 0.1. It makes no sense that a player who wins a 1vs1 battle got the same reward as the player who make the kill in a gank, in a stupid battle.
  2. Reduction of rewards for NPCs hunt and search and destroy missions at 50% in CM of actual, with a mission and a silver chest each.
  3. Increase of rewards in PvP.
    • 6-7th missions, kill 10 players with 20 CM and 2 gold chest as reward.
    • 5-4th missions, kill 10 players with 40 CM and a captain and gold chest as reward.
    • 1-3th rate, kill 10 players with 75 CM and a admiral and gold chest as reward.

No, mission and silver chest are shit. Only reward worth is gold chest. Keep as it is.

No, sinking 10 trader brigs should not give you 20 cm and 2 gold chest. Either remove trader ships from pvp reward system or they need their own category.

 

As for the rest, not sure i am all for increasing the rewards but not sure i am against it either so will leave it at that.

Been highlighted many times by myself and others, thus totally agree. But usually only when you start solo hunting you realise the reward system is bad and needs change.

6/7 missions, trade brig/snow kill by a 5th rate warship equals 0.1 credit toward the 25 required, kill by 6th rate warship equals 0.5 credit.  Kill by 6th rate trader ship equals 1 credit.  You want to rock up with an Endymion to pound on trade brigs, you need 250 to get your ribbons and candy.

Too complicated and makes little sense.

If i attack a trader ship it doesn't matter what ship I am in, if i can catch it.. then battle is won. Wether it's in a Privateer or in an Endymion. (talking small trade ships).

You got to earn it mate, and not just hit the I WIN button against someone who has 0 chance of a fight.  You should not be rewarded for bringing the biggest guns into the playground to kill children.

Conversely, sailing around in an unlocked board fitted trade brig sinking other player/traders is fun, and a challenge.

If i was to take a wild guess how many times this happen in let's say.. 20 pvp battles i would say.... 1.

You not understand what i write, at all...

If you are in a small trader your chances of winning are ZERO, NADA.. no matter if I am in a privateer or Hercules or endy or anything else that can catch you.

You're right, I am not going to argue with you.  ZERO credit for attacking a trader with a 5th rate warship.  None, nada.  And I have sunk and capped several with a trade brig/snow.

If you want a good reward in a pvp server make pvp. If you want a good reward sinking NPCs go pve server. I think that it is simple. When i started play the game you can only gain pvp rewards making pvp, no patrol, no missions... And the server has 1500 players online.

I been pvp'er since 2017, so i am not saying saying this for my own benefit... but we have players here who enjoy both pvp/pve.. why send them to pve server?.

Why even bring pve server up?... you think we have so many people that we only need hardcore pvp'ers on pvp server?... you missed the fact that population has almost half size in just couple of month?....

Lol, when i started the game we had the same and the Server was down to 300 - 250

You are mixing things up like you want? You talked about 1500 Players on the Server, naval action steam charts only show numbers If both servers. You are talking from players Peak? So where ist your argument, we still have a peak of 1200 now ...

im talking about in the number of connected players in european time zone, in the prime times, ussually 17-22 server time.
