That´s the Ville de Paris launched in 1850, not the one which participated in the American Revolutionary War.

plan says 1847, so yeah. Not sure if this would be a good match to Santi. if allowed in the game. She looks somewhat similar to her older British sister HMS Ville de Paris from 1788, but much more modern bow and stern:

So, what ship is on my plans? It says Paris in Russian year 1847.

This looks similar, but it is Hercule class:

L'Hercules class (2d rank of 100-gun) has nothing to do with the ships of Sané!

L'Hercules, as le Tage and the 13 other ships are from a new type of plan that comes to la Commission de Paris of 1824.

Those are completely different of Sane-Bordas vessels.

I do not know what it is that Russian plans ...

The design of the vessels of the CdP (Commission de Paris) is unloved by sailors. They find that these ships like the soapbox ...

As we say today, it was better before!

Except that these vessels are not there to please the sailors, not to be nice. Now we think "war, force, and pragmatism". No more old sculpture and large figureheads.

Difference between the 80 and 118-gun by Sané-Borda and the 90 and 120-gun by the CdP 1824.

It's "Paris", the same class as "12 Apostles". And looks like you already posted it:http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/7499-twelve-apostles-russian-1st-rate-1847/

The ship in the title is this: http://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=show_ship&id=24661

The ship in the plans is this: http://threedecks.org/index.php?display_type=show_ship&id=10516

Thanks for clarifying it. From digging old ships we find new ones.
