    1 char or multi char in 1 nation with shared labor hours, but definitely not muti char in multi nations. I very much think it is very important to commit to 1 nation for the health of the game.

    He doesn't need to go US either. I just want to see more people picking the small nations instead of adding to us big nations.

    By this logic the mercury and snow might be in the same category as they are also top end ships in their "division" so to speak.

    This thread is full of clan recruitment threads. Feel free to shop around. I humbly suggest you also consider nations other than Britain as well. Many of the other nations would benefit greatly from more new people. Have fun!

    This has often come up in the past especially among pirates who are free to attack friends within their own nation.

    I'm a bit surprised that many pirates don't fight each other for XP and gold. In the current system it is by far the best way to go. It is also the best way to get actual fighting experience for new players right now. Many people playing as pirates are actually nationals with black flags I guess. Many nationals are really more like pirates with national flags too. I still wish pirate was not a choice you could make in character creation.

    Yep I agree. It will encourage people to understand the game before they just mash the pirate button because Jack Sparrow. It will also give some context and back story to the people that end up being notorious pirates.

    I think people are taking this thread far to seriously, I'm going to lock it to let things cool off. Prater intended this as fun role play, but that is not working out.

    LOL You saw everyone we had on. We did not avoid it due to being fearful of loss LOL We just had nobody on. We have no fear of losing duras.

    It seems like some people in this thread are not understanding that this stuff is all just in good fun. The Brits are coming in massive groups and massive ships and taking our ports. That's fine. They are winning through force of numbers, and that is fine too. All of the nations that oppose them are essentially sleeping right now, and that will change. The Brits will always be the big Zerg, and I am happy to be fighting on the smaller side.

    I personally like that a game is standing up for a bit of human decency for a change. I think it is reasonable to hold people accountable for the things they say to other people, especially if the things they say would get them punched in the nose in real life.
