You can only escape like that in un capturable reinforcement zones which is the goal of the system. If he was able to reach uncapturable reinforcement zone/protected zone = he is in safe waters = he ran away.

I thought combat and fleet mission are immediately closed doesnt matter where you are. If not than that should be.

Do missions of any type stay open for anyone to enter and do Cross swords stay visable ?

the reason I ask is I was chasing a US Navy Brig (player) and he was in range to tag but I wanted to get closer.....all of a sudden he stopped, sails still up...crosswords appeared and he disappeared, as soon as he vanished the crosswords vanished as well.

There was no crosswords visable when he stopped to join a mission.....just abit confused on this and not knowing if this is a bug or something else.

missions markers located in protected waters close immediately

..and that is a problem. Exactly what mike said. Closing the missions immediately is a good thing (no more hated mission jumping), but an escape point is a bad thing for such a chase.

    @admin Plz implement:

If you want to start a mission, then you need to wait 30 secs and after that cooldown you are joining the mission wich is immediately closed. That would solve both problems at once!

(You are attackable on the open world in that 30 secs and you need to stop to join the mission. So in the most cases this isnt a good idea to misuse a mission as escape point)

Danish didn't attack Swedes either. It is very pointless to attack nations with huge reinforcement zones. They are very weird at the moment and not logical. Swedes would have to attack Danes on Haiti and Danes would have to attack Swedes... close to French nation? It would be all messed up.

The problem with danes and swedes is: Their capitols are too close together and the devs dont want to see that as a problem. Every war against the danes wasn't fun for me, not the same with all the other wars against other nations. Doesnt matter wich nation. This is my personal experience as a player on the swedish side and the reason why I dont want a war against the danes until the devs understand the problem. Maybe others on both side feels the same. You cant keep such a war locally limited to Haiti it will always turn back to the small area between danes and swedes (and with that to the capitol areas). But i think only danes and swedes understand the "capitols too close"-problem in relation to rvr.

ah actually this feature did not get in.

it was bugged and the amount of time to fix it was too high to let the patch wait for it. We are not sure now if we should tax private trade.

0% for allies (Player to Player of same nation), 15% for out of Nation private trades. Do not tax players who trade with their same nation friends, but tax those who do Nation to Nation trades. Keep product inside Country and only push it through the market.

Why not tax all private trades like 10 % as default and 25% as nation to other nation trade

    I would support that

  6. calm down, please.

You are only speaking of skill inside the battle. Maybe your skill isnt high enough to identify a trap or differ between dangerous and safe areas on the map. Or your planning skill isnt high enough to plan clever routes instead of the direct way. Or your group play skill is too low to organise yourself in a fleet including escort. There are so much more ways to play NA, not only the battle. If you want a fair battle only: Naval Action Legends is your game

  7. The Problem with that:

A Clan can use the neutral town the same way as if that port would be controlled by their clan. Dont attack and let is neutral instead of cature it for your nation means..

    - no need for grinding hostility

    - no need for pb and risk of own ships

    - no need to pay 100k cost per day and daily grind for the money

Because of that port brings nearly zero income (no tax at gathing ressources. all players gather the ressources and shipping it to their "clan capitol") i ask: Why the hell should a clan decide to attack such port to conquer it for your nation? And RvR is living by attacks and defends of ports.

Most players already lost access to their set up production lines due to previous conquest. New conquest is no different, but with safe zones for some nations

New conquest is a different: Holding ports costs 100K a day, so there will be not much conquest at the map, coz most port havnt any income.

  9. Hi,

I had an idea about a new type of mission could be implemented into this beautiful age of sail game:

If someone is tagged into a battle inside the waters of his own nation, then the game system generates a patrol mission. For example:

"Player A from Nation X is atacking a player B form Nation Y in the waters of nation Y"

Now such a mission is available, wich could sound like "Patrol Gustavia Area and sink the enemy captain B". It is a bit like bounty hunting with auto generated missions. Of course every damage to that captain brings much more rewards than default when the enemy has been sunk. That would be one more impuls to safe the homewaters and go to pvp. And it bring a strategic target in battles.
