OK firstly CCCP did not start the action. SCAR and DICS did. 2ndly you flipped a port of an ally and thus triggered a response. I actually commend CCCP for actually honouring the alliance between themselves and the pirates. I personally have had discussions with them regarding this prior to it happening and reality is Alliance was clearly stated in the nation status post for a while. We have not actually taken the port /ports yet and you haven't taken the pirate port yet so perhaps you can think of this more as posturing than breaking the deal at this point. right now were are on the brink of breaking into a full conflict. No one has been hurt yet....whats your play? as you can see in your screen caps there has been a discussion about Diplo and what people actually want to do. We also said that although chailang wants to break the deal we had to wait for you to break it. so really all you are doing is highlighting that we wanted to move but were hand tied. You then attacked an allied port which triggered a response. If you also looked at nation chat today there was also me saying to chailang that the French attacked the pirates and that the alliance was there before the NAP and you're allowed to respond. You might want to think about how you look at diplomacy if you think you can isolate yourselves with NAPs. Again at this moment you have a decision to make as to whether you are a PVP nation who lives in freeports with a happy few ports at home Or you are an RvR nation with all the good and bad that holds.

thats actually a resonably possible thing to do....with the controlperk they already have the code to keep people in so the reverse should be possible.

we had some one the other day with it also and relogging wouldnt solve it.

@koltes, the decisions I am referring to are more about development and integrity stances over nation chats/alts in general and such. These decisions are at best a poor choice and at worse a money grabbing exercise.

Not sure that you are the majority since many people leave the game or cannot put in those hours of sailing to get a combat option.

Didn't adding battle groups address this issue? I think the devs suck at managing this stuff as much as anyone and have many issues with decisions etc but if they did something to address it. I would also put forth that another fix to this would be that if there is no activity in a battle log for 2 minutes the battle should immediately exit. The argument of people wanting to go to the toilet etc after a battle is pretty much addressed by light speed on exit and logging at sea. Again it wont fix the issue but would cause people to actively partake in the not sinking but only tagging of a cutter. I also think that this is not an attack on Black. Just that it is trying to tie the dev/tribunal team to actually stating and upholding their own ruleset which clearly they cannot do. I would be aggressively forcing alts to be the same nation and the mains by IP tracking. I would be being hyper aggressive towards ethical decisions if I thought they were against funzors. I am however not a dev for the game nor a mod so interpreting the rules is a bit grey as everyone can agree.

This may be global specific:- Population is too low for this size map by a long way. unless your on at US primetime there is a lot of screensaver time going on. Close the gulf from selam/barataria west and increase open world sail speed by another 25% IMO to make it semi viable. PvP only works in a small area and the bulk of the map is screensaver. RvR is broken and although the idea of port battles is nice it has a detrimental affect to the game when you can flip ports to PB in such a short time and there is very limited ways to counteract it. For instance if someone starts grinding hostility. unless it is less than an hours sail you may as well just prep for a PB. Fleet resetting and OP fleeting created this problem and war supplies changes hurt defence as much as hindered attacks. Make port battles 15 v 15 may help that for this population level also since it is unlikely that you will get 30% of the online population into one spot at any time of the day. the system needs to scale down. As the new king of the danish I will be taking ports to establish the danes as 2nd on the scoreboard with multiple port flips with minimal numbers in ports. We will then not defend the ports and retake them after a week to display that in the current form the scoreboard is 100% gameable. I will also diplo our way into having access to PVP without screensaver time as best i can. During which time it will become toxic in global chats because the timezoning of PBs will be out of everyones timezones. The dev's will spend their time avoiding the issue saying it is a global server and if they wanted to have PBs at set times they should join the EU server which actually changed because of this issue.

they were told to turn off open world in april last year. since then there's been layers and layers put in to try to fix something that is a fundamental flaw. The devs are less than good at their job and recent patches are just moving further back into the "we don't have any clue" basket

it is unfortunate that you can't make the same timers as some of us. it is also a shame we cant play on your timers either due to work so I think we just have to accept that it is going to happen and get over it. We chose to do it on a weekend to give you a chance. we cannot make day times in general because of work.

no we flipped it on a weekend...night flipping isnt a thing on global and the aussies are nice enought o do it on thieir time so be grateful not bitchy

you might wonder why that was.......ever noticed who is on the US timeslot in GB and wondered why our numbers don't come to PBs on that timeslot anymore?
