    I think I like the third option the most, 1st option is also ok I guess. I can imagine it makes some people more of a target as well... (They should rework the timers, 4 min battle timer and 3 min exit timer is just too much)

I gain all my millions by sinking players and selling the doubloons. 1 or more DLC ships do help with that. Edit: Apart from that statement its a fine idea imo

    Situation in the Netherlands is getting more serious now, government told everyone that has minor symptoms of a cold to stay at home (work from home) if possible. Less traffic jams, supermarkets with empty shelves etc etc

    Yep, a valid reason i think. Dont get why people get so upset about multi flips and no shows 😂 it’s part of the game just like ganks/being backstabbed and all the other 💩

    Cowards tactic is still a valid tactic to me xD, forces you guys to divide or make a decision and focus on one port

    What helped me improve was watching youtube vids of players pvp'ing (especially on tacking).

    Personally i think the most efficient way of becoming good at the game (not saying im good) is by doing PvP. But i think we are drifting from the main point of the question of this person in general. It is an option to create an account on both servers and test both servers out @gogopher

    Some general tips when starting in the PvP server; join a clan, try to get some funds, dont spend too much on ships at the start of your PvP career (because you will get sunk many many many times), try opening outposts at freetowns if you want 'quick' action, but most importantly is try to enjoy it . And in regards to toxicity, I dont experience the toxicity as explained above^. Some people do have a toxic mindset, and ganking (massive outnumbering/overpowering) someone happens but that's part of the game.
