  1. And another one for the Black List. He'll most likely get an admin infraction but also some punishment in game.. YARR!
  2. If that don't work, find the NA executable and try starting the game from that.
  3. If you only have one ship, and you're keen to get playing without waiting for an admin, you could delete your character and create it again. You will lose cash and ship, but XP will remain. Just an option for the impatient
  4. Sounds like players of another nation have gotten themselves a second account me thinks and posing as pirates.
  5. Join us, we even holiday in foreign destinations. YARRR. http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/11623-eu-pvp-charleston-tripadvisor-%E2%98%85%E2%98%85%E2%98%85%E2%98%85/ Seriously folks, if you want a clan that has fun and laughs but snaps into serious mode when the brown goo hits the fan, then [bLACK] is the clan for you. As Pete says, there's not orders, class system, or BS, every man is free to do as they wish but must put the clan first when the need arises. WHEN the need arises everyone pulls together and I've yet to experience a defeat. It's not to big that your voice is drowned out, yet not to small that you're crushed when the enemy sails into our waters. Join the BEST pirate clan on EU PVP1 !!
  6. Charleston TripAdvisor Rating ★★★★ Review: Long Beard Good food, good women, good rum. Little opposition despite area being full of enemy player ships in snows, frigs etc. Very few attack, even as you sail into harbor. Able to sink multiple ships. Would highly recommend.
  7. Oh reheeheeeheeeheeeely? I visit Charleston regularly. Much trade plunder there! I I actually think showing faction numbers would be counter productive. People generally join larger factions. Not knowing makes you pick based on what you like rather than who you think will give you an easier time.
  8. Good idea since I see a lot of 'PVP1' threads but many don't specify US or EU. +1
  9. Yeah buddy, they give you a good advantage when boarding an enemy ship. Attack Bonus will mean you kill more enemy crew when you use the attack ability. Moral bonus will give you more moral which tbh I'm not sure what it actually does but if you have more moral than enemy I think you get less shock and more kills per round. Accuracy Penalty - Not so sure here but I would think with each offensive ability you'll get more kills with grog rations than without. Marines, boarding parties, grog rations, muskets and pistols & swordfencing is what I go for with a boarding build.
  10. Really this comes down to whether it's against the game TOC. In most MMO's I've played scamming is against the TOC. In Eve-Online however it's allowed. Clarification needed me thinks.
  11. And have Bloody Hound add him to the black list YARR!
  12. Yep, I've seen many pirate v pirate battles around Mortimer. Mostly just noobs in basic cutters, but whenever I've joined one, there's never been the ability to chose a side. Always I am automatically put on the defenders side which suits me fine. As many have said, green on green is against the rules however I would bet my supply of rum on it that many new players don't know this. There needs to be some kind of warning flash up. Maybe that's in already?
  13. If you really want to think about this in a kind of realistic manner, players hiding in an outpost wouldn't have to undock to see who's waiting for them outside. They'd just look out of the tavern window. This mechanic doesn't just assist pirates, it assists every player in exactly the same way so I don't see how this is an exploit. If you want to catch someone, don't sit in the harbor like a muppet waiting for them. This is only going to force them to stay docked up. Use the heed and move away then catch them in open waters. I'm sure if the tables were turned and you stuck in a port with a group of pirates outside waiting for you, you'd do exactly the same thing. Tell me I'm wrong?
  14. Not surprised since Mort is predominantly populated with new players in basic cutters.
  15. Encountered a Kommandørkaptajn and no idea what rank that is? Use this and / or print it out. bit.ly/naranks NOW WITH ADDED BR REFERENCE CARD - PRINTABLE
  16. No such thing as a monitor in the 17th century. Just read books on those long voyages.
  17. Doesn't look like you've taken on much damage there matey. I would have waited to see if it was persistent and targeted rather than just an accident. Given you were able to leave it was obviously not persistent. Did you even speak to the guy to get his side of the story before posting here? That would have been my approach.
  18. Been with these guys now for a few weeks. Great bunch. Friendly, willing to help. Work as team. Not too big, not too small. Sign your life away to the infamous Captain Pagan Pete. He says Arrr a lot in Team Speak!
  19. Sure this is probably on the to do list, but some kind of audio alert when you are PM'd would be really helpful. Thanks.
