Norbert Sattler Posted June 8, 2020 Author Share Posted June 8, 2020 Apart from customization, it's also something that was done historically. Just take the Iowa for one rather high profile example. She was lengthened compared to her predecessors to up her speed to something that could keep pace with the carriers.
