  1. I must have spent 500 16" shell on it just to get it from 12% to 6%, not even exaggerating. That ship only have a barbette and few casemate guns left above the waterline, but because I can't get on his side his engine and middle hull can't get hit. This is a bit annoying.
  2. And I am pretty sure that its much higher Target signature must negate the speed advantage evasion wise. Its armor and standard bulkhead must make it very sensitive too. And you only get two of them. I do not think its worth it to go that fast but I will try to make one to see. Probably gonna have to trade the firepower bonus for maneuverability. Gonna lose the radar... Edit: I did it without sacrificing the Radar. But it only have the cost in survivability and accuracy is too high... Specially when you have just two ship. At 46 trough...
  3. Are you going for speed? I have a design like this. I use torpedo to balance. I ended up making this one instead. Two 2x16" gun weight and cost less than three 2x14. Target signature is lower, that is something that people often neglect, it make you harder to hit. You get a noticeable Smoke interference penalty at these speed. But if you keep Pitch penalty low it wont hurt too much. Enemies have a hard time hitting this one.
  4. @ThatZenoGuy White Powder is better if you are going for pen damage. Higher range mean higher accuracy. And you get bonus pen and damage. That plus a big gun with bigger shell and you are in business.
  5. I agree. The tower stack too much feature. I wish I could make my own or at least chose its feature.
  6. Look at the roll penalty when you add anything that is off center. Not only secondary are bad, but they make the rest of the good guns bad. Its really bad
  7. @Absolute0CA You cant wish for a 18" that can pen 76" inch of armor and at the same time wish to make secondary guns relevant!

  9. @Nick Thomadis Whats the logic behind snap points? From a player point of view it seem a bit annoying limitation that does not add any visible mechanics.
  10. Crew is planned I think. Good thing because since armor scale down with ship its pretty easy to make pocket battleship. Nothings wrong with that, but at some point cant scale down the crew.

  13. I just did a defend the convoy with 20x6 inch guns as main. Guess what, it shoot only two guns. Guns actually never lock on, that might be the problem. Can someone replicate this just to be sure?
  14. @Evil4Zerggin I use white powder. It increase range and doing so increase accuracy. The Buff on penetration is nice too, specially when combined with heavy/super heavy shell.
  15. Yeah I made a topic about this too. I had 9x5 torpedo launchers on each sides. Only 17 to 19 were coming out of them. could it be the reason why small caliber do so little damage too?
  16. @Absolute0CAI know it's most likely intended. But you you could have much better if you splitted this in two ships. And that weight offset gonna cost you.
  17. Please do not start with enemy in sight! That would be bad. I actually never had that problem to be honest. To save time I usually split all my ship and put them on IA. 99% of the times I get in range within a minute or two.
  18. I had a very interesting match today. The scenario was "destroy a full fleet". I was designing a long range BC interceptor, for the fun of it. And interestingly the enemy fleet decided to collaborate. After damaging the two BBs all the fleet disengaged and turned away. Lucky for me my 3 BC were fast, 34kn. So they could not outrun me. Anyways, I chased and skirmished with it for a good 40 min, one of my BC got engine crited and could not keep up. So I took my two intact BC and go around them the other way around to force them to turn back. It worked. I managed to turn them back almost toward my damaged BC. I sink all exept 2 DDs. Was very fun!
  19. I had a 4" pen my stern deck at 1km. Destroyed two engines and sunk my ca lol.
  20. A ship that is getting damaged will quickly lose accuracy. It is better to have many ship for that reason. That and more guns!
  21. I can only praise the person that will be patient enough to go for hour long match at that low intensity peace. Lets hope that person is also the kind that file crash report. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. Good luck!
