  1. Turret armor is only being reset in the tooltip at the start of each mission. It is non-existent in practice, so currently not working at all. Hence the 2" over-pens causing flash-fires. It's also why the Monitor mission is very difficult. Also, the conning tower armor is pointless as it counts the weight and cost and doesn't apply that armor to anything on the ship. Instead the superstructure armor is applying to the conning tower as well. Also tested with 2" overpens and in-mission penetration tooltip highlights (green/yellow/red.) I reported both along with details after testing it for 40ish minutes to find out what was going on. Just hoping it's a simple fix that is easy to find like a line being commented out and that it gets fixed soon.
  2. Confirmed. Can max out armor and armor quality and doesn't apply to guns or conning tower. Also, appears that superstructure armor applies to the conning tower, and conning tower armor doesn't apply to anything. Furthermore, armor doesn't seem to reset when you goto the shipyard but when you launch the mission according to the tooltips (in mission), not that the armor is there since a 12" turret with 18" of armor gets overpenned by a 4" gun and takes out the whole ship.
  3. Modular hull design so we're not locked into the design benefits and flaws of historical ships. I don't mind if the AI can't use them, as long as the player can design the same ships as the AI with the pieces provided.
  4. I cannot play the game at x1 speed for all combat. This becomes far too unfun when engaging in stern chases or cleanup operations and wastes time I don't have. I would prefer the crashes and performance issues from v0.61 than deal with this further.
