Simple enough. Even if we set the timer and you show up in oure timezone. We might win some of the pb and some we are going to lose: But unikke you we wont be up at Night to win it back. So in the end we can only lose. I do even think a lot of port will be with out a timer, simple because lots of EU players not are going to be part of the RvR under this game ruleset. In short time global will play on a server in regard to RvR as the one they play on now.

You are right. No problem if ppl wants to play in an non restrictet way. Those that have chosen to play on EU, did soe because they wantet some restriktions. So now ifthey wanner play NA, they are forced to play on a server they turned Down. actually global player turned Down there own server. If they had liked the gamerukes on global, well there would more players there then on EU server

Lets for a moment put the diffences away. When will we Call this merge a succes. At the moment there are around 150 global and 500 EU in there main time. So what numbers wil be a succes. My one min would say: global 400-500. EU at least dont loose players and hopefully get a number of 700 in main time. I have take a look at timezones for EU main time. EU 18-23 makes USA 10-15 AUS 02-07. So I have trouble to see overlapning gametime. So where should the players in global timezone come from. - players comming back to game.why should this make them do it. - EU based player move there playtime. Look at the difference in time, dont think it will happen. so where are the players comming from, that will make this merge a succes. And what happens if it insted kills of the Eu base.

I dont think ppl who like the merge understand how much does how dislike it, hates it. we test a game so there will be changes. But in a test we should play is as we will when it is finished, not try to compensate for it fails. 1. Im am not going to grind money to get a defence timer. Well we all know what it will end up with. 2 I will not change the time I play, it is a game not Real life. So a global inviroment in sence of RVR, wont give me anything and I wont add anything to, I guess lots of plsyers feel the same. I wont stay up 1 hour later to compensate for timezones. I wont be playing nights ore early mornings weekendsmorings* so all in all think it is getting a tough ride the next Monty. I choosed limitid time pb becaus it was what got along with my live. An all the ppl you keep saying, that they just can leave, well most of them is the on who have been the guys that keep creating content. But guess we dont need them. But it is comming, so I just have to live with it. But boy do I personally think the devs hello kittyed up this time.

Yep nightflips will be back. I know that we will be able to buy a defence timer for 100 k a day. But most nations bleed money all ready to keep there ports. So we can either live with the risk of nightflips ore grind money. I all most want to be in a nation with more uncaptuable ports. Then I didn't need to defend any ports.

No I am not affraid of ganking. Ganking os part of the game. For new players it may be a problem. For players that have be on for a bit of time, it is not a problem. Getting ships is easy. And I dont think it will get many more players. A small yes, but not many. Ppl in other timezones will still be online in different time. It is not so that now there is 150 on global and 450 on Eu. Som on one servet there will be 600* at the same time-. And on a side note. To use "oh, you are affraid of getting gang." It is that kind of argumenting that just kill all serious debat.

Well I guess the reasoning is that the restrictions is what have made ppl leave. They may be right. So maby we in the end will end up with any. No safe zones and so on.

I dont think it is changes ppl mind. Think more ppl are worried that this change is going to kill the population. But I guess we will be wiser in a short time.

Lets see. Not sure there will be much more players. In global main time, there is about 50-100 EU server players online. So not a big change. And on oure main time, well I guess 50 on global. but they save Monet for a server. Just hope it will go well and we dont loose to many players.

Yeah lets see. I may be mistaken, but I do fear the worst. Just a simple fact like at global 100-150 players online. Eu 400-500 online. Why do they play Eu, because they dont want to fight at nights ore when they are at work. Yes you can buy a defence timer. But at 100 k a day, It will take a lot more money grinding. Will the global so get more players to play with. Lets say most are outside EU main time, well there is about 50-200* on EU server, depend on the time. so yeah a bit more. But if the Eu players stop because, the dont want to play on a global server. Well then we end up with a server with 200-300 around the clock. So yes the global get more, and the Eu less, so my guess is that we in near future see a very low pop in Eu main time. Plenty of emty pb.

Lets us be fair. Look at there last pb. No Rus players as far as I rember, and if you count the players in Red. I think I countet 18 different players. If thats there numbers I do think they are better of fighting the britts. They britts who have to devide there forces because of the fight with spain. that Nort dude is a clever guy:

Well this must be a new. Me agreeing with Nort. They had there dance with the sweeds. And for a short time I guess it was ok. Now the try out a new dancing partner. Why do they do that. My guess a big part of the russians is not active right now. Ther where a time when Red(RDNN) and RUS, where close. Guess not so much anymore, since RED dont see a reason to defend a RUS port. So there fore I do think that it is good judgment to find another nation for them to fight. But who should fight the sweeds. No idea, But maby some one that wants to test themself against the Best.

First of all, as I remember my history Caesar wept because He had’nt achieved the same as Alexandre the great. But maby a histoty teacher can clear it up. Like to get at bit cleaver evry day. I dont think lesser Nations will make a different. Russia could field more oreless the same players as Sweeden. So why did the stop show up. My guess is because they couldn’t win. But all respect that they tryed. So they just found some one els to fight. And I think that is the right choise. Something other nations could learn from. Personaly I dont think there is a game mecanic thats can force ppl to fight. And I dont think ppl will fight if they dont belive they can win.

Lets be fair Hornblower. It is lose, lose, lose, win, lose lose lose lose. But they do derserve respect for fighting. How bad are they are at RvR? I still think they have some to offer. They have beaten us in evry pb( except the last against BF)and think some piraters too. but it could be time for the sweeds to find a new whipping boy.

Watched the match on the live stream and for a long time had the feeling that the Russians would win. Not because they were better in close combat, but because their tactics were better. But am I right in my view of the match? I saw a match between an experienced pb commander and some good pvp players. It seemed to me as if the Russians plan was winning by points, while the Danes would win by sinking all the opponents. The Russians had good luck with their strategy and got all three circles. They pulled the Danes farther and farther away. It seemed that at 850 points the Danes discovered that they would lose by points. By that time, the Danes had already killed 3 Russians. At 900 points there is battle in one circle and this is where I think the Russians made the mistake that cost them the pb. They would not be able to win by fighting man to man, but should win on points. What Babay should have done was to let the Danes get the circle and chain their sails and not fight them. The Danes had to take the next circle by sailing in the headwinds and they could not have done if the two Russians had not been sunk, giving the Danes more time. Then it was just a matter of time. But it's always a good day when the Danes win.

And I didn’t say you did. But a word are missing. It should have said : I don’t think. To my knowledge Denmark is not in war with sweden.

Thought this was about the dutch-swedish war. Not personale slander. But how are the dutch going to win against the sweed. For now it seams like the sweeds can’t loose in a pb. So what are the Deutsch going to do. Maby like last time with the russians and the french. 3pb at the same time and loose again? If you ask me. Yes the should do. But not for 1 Night. When the sweeds are locked in Pb others should grind hostility, so the sweeds have 3 pb evry Day. Win ore loose the pb dosen’t matter. You can’t neither drain them for ships. So why do it. To break the player. How many days will it take with 3 pb a day before Real live makes players say enough is enough. A week* ore two.who knows.

Maby to fill it, but to win? Lets be fair. But again, they were part of a 3 nations vs. 1. Well actually again the sweeds fought unfair. It should have been atleast a 5 vs 1.

You went 3 one 1. My guess is that they choose a tactic to win. And if I remember right, you are all for the win. Actually for now the sweeds are the powerhouse, But doo they abuse there position. I honestly don’t think so. What would happend if Russian was the stronge one. A danish clan helped to destroy the russians 1 rate fleet. So the russians ganged up the danish pb against Poland. But thats ok, because it is part of the game. But when the sweeds fight to win they are wrong.

Not only. We still have a lot to master. But after evry battle we try to find 1-2 things to do better in next battle

Well I do worry a bit for Denmark Norway. The latest battle do surgest that the only nation that Russia can beat is us. Guess when they are tirred of getting beat up, they will turn to us for a confident boost. Time for us get to sea and get in shape.

Can not remember I've mentioned him. I said that Russians should practice shooting if it would represent a joint operation against the Poles. I remember as if there were some from the Russian nation who drew our pb into battle. It is a statement about the nationality they represent in the game. Not there real life nationality.
