In these dark times of Wipes and rumors of a release, BORK will continue to sail around and do what we like, just now - we'll look to the Bahama shallows as a bed of fun activity.

If you fancy fighting us with shallow ships or joining us and enjoying the "little pool" away from lineships and scary people, come join us ;)

Time to call up the original members and get them back into the game

I agree, putting everything on supposed new player after release is walking a very thin plank. Would be better to please and cherish as many as possible of what is left from long term testers first and go from there but as long as books remain untouched I won't quit - not over rank xp. That being said I completely understand people being frustrated by xp wipe, considering it was promised to not get wiped. I only don't care about rank xp wipe because I enjoy PvP and it let's you rank up fast and easily

I think the reason behind this is, that they don't want veterans roaming around in SOLs trashing new players with the new boosted damage only a week after release.

The reward is the ship knowledge. I am very grateful to have that at least. We have enough of an advantage just with that in comparison to a new player. So much has changed since the majority of us have started playing. I had to rank up twice after switching nations pre-DLC years. It was a huge difference and was less of a headache second time around. Experience point wipe is needed for the potential new players. When I joined the biggest thing out in the waters was a 3rd rate. No one had yet ranked up far enough to spam 1st rates. Majority of players were in 5th rates and it was very enjoyable back then. I probably would never have played past the first day if I was coming across ships far out my class. I mean who would honestly want to play a game where you are the weakest person right at the start and is thrown right in the thick of it where everyone can curb stomp you with ease?

Also I just want to say on a separate note to everyone that called me hello kitty among other names for stating the Devs would wipe experience even if they made what was obviously a loose promise:

you still have to give a message to every dutch post i see from you in an aggressive negative way (looking at all you post they are all pure hate against the Dutch in general)

Only you EU Dutch who cry worse than a US liberal millennial after a "find yourself" vacation across Europe.

Total respect for the Dutch clans that left and to the US players there simply because they know how to honour a deal, don't cry when things don't go their way, and have toughed through far more worse things than the EU Dutch have. @van der Decken my helmet off to you old comrade.

Do you remember your first hour in NA?

Yeah. Making the long sail from KPR to Bonacca where my first clan, JANFU, Joint Army Navy ____ Ups, were based out of to combat the United States Empire front lines.

i heard a rumor:  that Rediii is joining the vp and that a huge br clan is following to go to vp too (just heard it)

and that new job of the new  diplomate at havoc clan is fake news

If rediii and HAVOC go anywhere they should go to Poland. Run their own show and people would actually play against them in RvR rather than avoid them since they are in Great Britain.

  6. Since joining Sweden I have had an improved experience with Naval Action. No nonsense via players like idiot politics or overly vocal egos. I can just finally focus on PvP and PvE without worrying about RvR since the EU players have that covered which is such a relief having to deal with RvR multiple times a week back in the United States.

I absolutely recommend anyone from a US timezone to join us or even bring your own clan. The more the merrier.

  7. Sweden still lives on. Were just quiet is all. No point rustling major feathers if you dont have to.

For US timezone players avoid the US. Its a hot mess of nonsense and paranoia. It will eventually burn you out. Great Britain would be fine if you are a weak sauce that has HAVOC do all the work so you can have your safe space and feel big. Props to the GB players that were there before HAVOC arrival. Pirates there is a strong US presences. Would recommend them. France just avoid. Danmark as Hachi below states really is full of small pvp groups and I hardly see any US timezone guys there. Sweden were coming back into action slowly after a short break from the game. Apart from them I dont know any other nation with a decent sized US timezone pressence worth mentioning.

We went on 2 "no repair" journeys - first battle was us in all store bought frigates. Some pirates came and chewed us up. we got some damage on the board for patrol rewards though.

2nd No repair journey went a little differently. We found the pirates who smashed us up, but their Christian player seemed to have left....

    a few things to note
@Velhelm Von Marrius decided to be a fireship and didn't put any cannons on his frigate - so fireship doesn't work ;)

I never been more disappointed in my forgetfulness yet still overjoyed that I capped the Hermione and actually did something apart from soaking up shots.
