I agree but the problem is in this case not the mechanics but the lack of French vessels in the area to aid the Swedes. It seems to be more of an tactical error to mass your vessels in the south to take advantage of the Dutch. We fought a war on two fronts including overstretched lines. You are in the same situation as we were but our Western Fleet sails to the east as well. You outnumber us in players, and we had no 3rd rates at the start of this all, by a great number but not our allies who took advantage of your advance in the south.

One day you will wake up, step outside your ships cabin to greet the sun and find yourself surrounded by grazing cows...

Amazing stuff! I participated in yesterdays battles and we held them off at Macanoa. At one o'clock at night, GMT+1, we still held the gap versus the French fleet. I have no idea if anything happened afterwards. Last thing i saw was that their flag expired.
