I was under the impression you don't mind waiting for hours on end? You sit in port all day long afterall. Wasn't it the same as usual, just with spectators? Ofcourse, you waste the time of the people outside. They expect a enemy to actually come out. Kinda makes sense, right? Could it be we are starting to get fed up with the way how you do war? What goes around comes around.

We could have but we decided not to engage. Easy as that. Our attack, our fleet, our choice and you just have to deal with it. Personally I feel that logging off like that is lame and should make you loose a durability. Abusing a logoff to avoid being attacked is something entirely different then changing your mind to attack a port. Thanks tho to the several Swedish captains i fought today. Nice fights! Thanks!

Coming from a nation which is becoming infamous for not leaving their ports that is quite the statement.

Always a pleasure, Thonar! I think you hit the nail on the head there. We are at the moment unable to defeat you in an offensive portbattle. Too many players getting the ranks and who need to practice, me first, in sailing in proper lines. I think one of our points is indeed the issue of timers. You claim to be all open for PvP but those times limit us greatly and make you sit in ports for hours on end refusing to come out. Its the right thing to do from your perspective but for overall fun, not so much. I would fear the day we start to beat you in portbattles. I take it you refer to our Open World performance on the second problem? Thusfar I have seen us being alot better in those encounters. Plenty of eager captains of all ranks, great sceeningfleets and a bigger presence on the open seas. It seems we are at a stalemate at the moment. But I don't think peace or even a ceasefire is going to happen. That ship has sailed. Anyhow, looking forward to fight again! Godspeed!

You have a point there. And please, you like us and have pictures of our ships pinned above your bed. Don't deny it!

Might be handyer to state also the way battles are won? Like interceptions and no shows? The list becomes inaccurate this way stating there have been battles where none excists?

Just basic and PvP capturing would be nice too. Especially in setups and the like!

Mine have been doing suprisingly well, at a more modest level of vessel tho. I attacked with my crew and they took down 31 NPC sailors.

That make no sense whatsoever. You are being aimed at as one playable faction to another and not on your reallife nationality.

Exactly! I have stated this in Global Chat several times. People should just knock off with the whole bashing of a nation that aint even a faction in the game.

I think you are being too harsh. Among that newbie intercepting fleet there were plenty of DAS members as well, me included. I am sure you remember me! You have to keep in mind that DAS has been on the foreground of defending the Swedish incursions, as wel as against the French in the last war. We launched multiple attacks each and every day despite battling against an enemy which has its full fleet ready and waiting in the only attackable port. After a week and a half of that with little success it should not come as a suprise we won't attack them. It is like sailing into a meatgrinder and that is a big compliment for the level of organisation in the Swedish nation and th3e dedication of her captains. The last thing people can do is accussing DAS of a lack a figthing spirit. That is just bang out of order. It should not come as a suprise tho that it is very frustrating too realise that the safety, that the clans in the east provide, to the Willemstad region now results in our own captains falling behind because we are too occupied up there. We are defintly falling behind rank and shipwise and with PFK down another big player in the nation has fallen away. I can't blame, and understand their reasons, the Swedes for using the mechanics this way but in a matter of time and amusement it does not bring much for the table. That being said; this is a war so I am not complaining, just making a point! Still, I am enjoying myself so lets keep it all civil and exchange them cannonballs!
