WASP Inc. comes to Naval Action!

Faction: Sweden (Sverige)

 

WASP Inc. is making its first foray into the waters of Naval Action, we are currently a very small group of players, a subsection of a far larger and long established gaming community. As of right now we have no set long term goals for Naval Action and are open to ideas from my personal favourite of operating as mercenaries to establishing a widespread trade network or just playing the game as another cog in the Swedish imperialist machine. With that said we are looking for members to make whatever we come up with a possibility. Due to the current nature of the game we are playing in a casual manner but in future this will almost certainly change dramatically.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Working TeamSpeak 3 and a microphone
  • Ability to speak and understand English sufficiently for our needs
  • Ability to work in a team, to take orders and execute them

Here is some WASP information and a bit of our History:

WASP Inc was founded in the original All Points Bulletin game where we were selected as the “Best Closed Beta Enforcer Clan” by the original developers. This gave us a lot of early prestige as a new clan which we still maintain to this day in APB: Reloaded. While WASP Inc originates on the APB European servers, we later expanded our operations to the North American servers as demand for our gameplay grew.

 

It was at this point we began to move away from the idea of being a clan solely in APB. Our first steps in becoming a proper gaming community started with our entry into the PlanetSide 2 Tech Test. With the experience of being a well-established and successful APB clan, and the support of our members who were veterans of the original PlanetSide, we had a strong basis for expansion into PlanetSide 2. Since then, WASP Inc in PlanetSide 2 has become one of the most successful and renowned Outfits in the game. With two successful expansions into contrasting games, we have now been looking for other games that have the potential to be our next core game division. Aside from PlanetSide 2 and APB we are also active in many other games from Milsim to MOBA and our community is set up to facilitate groups playing whatever they desire.

 

WASP Inc has a strong emphasis on teamwork. We don’t care about your background or nationality so long as you are capable of communicating clearly in English and are willing and able to play in a team. While individual skill does make a difference for us, the ability to play in a team effectively is far more important. Being a committed and widespread gaming community of mature and serious gamers, we always try to hit a sweet spot between strict organised play for the win, and the value of playing socially for fun.

My Time with WASP

 

I Joined WASP 4 Years ago. I just started to play Planetside 2 an was looking for a Clan. WASP took me and its was the beginning of a wonderful Relationsship.

We were not very big, but well organised. We had 5-6 Squad with a total of up to 60 Players at Operation Nights. Each squad had Squadleader, each Platoon (4 Squads) had a Captain, we had CAS Squads, Tank Squads Infantry and all.

It was and still is amazing. After a year i left the PS2 Division and switch to the "Hive", wich is the Divison were player are if there are not playing in an specific Game but still stay in WASP. Most of of them are Veterans from different Divisions

wich stay in WASP beacause it a true and good Community.

 

i played with Johnnyseven (The guy wich made the recruitment-post) for the past 4 Years, all kind of Games, we lost and won together had joy and anger together.

 

In  the Past three years i have played Archage (we had a Division), Arma 2+3, War Thunder, Rainbow SIx,World of Tanks/planes/Warships, Star Citizen (Big things planned)  and many other Games.

We run Gamenights (WASP vs. WASP) were we play fun PvP-Games like  Natural Selection 2, TTT from Gary's Mod, Icarus.

 

We discovered Naval Action in Arena mode and quickly realised "OW coud be great for an new Division". So here we  are a ready to bring it on.

 

I cant promise you we will be the biggest Clan (actually i can promise you we wont, since its not our way to do stuff), i cant promise you we will be the best Clan (We will try)

but waht i can promise you is a awesome, grown up (18 - 50 mostly between 25 and 35)  Community wich you will enjoy,  you will expierence a new lvl of teamplay and friendship  in Gaming.

 

I found my Home in WASP and if my to-be-born Child happens to be a Gamer as well, i hope it will find a Home like this.

 

So give us a try, you wont regret it.

AAR from 05.02.2016

 

 

Yesterday, WASP fought in the Defence of Port Marigot as well as the Attack on Fort Baai. We had 5 Ships in action, 2 Ceberus, 1 Niagara, 1 Mercury and Cutter with one of our newer Players.

 

The Danes assambled a Fleet infront of Philipsburg wich unkown intentions. After some Discussions, a Fleet of about 30 Swedish ships decide to attack the danes, wich quickly retreathed to Fort Baai.

30 min later, the Danes pulled a Flag to attack Marigot. To be honest, it wasnt a very well coordinated attack a the Start of the Port Battles, only 5 Danish ships were in the Attack fleet.

WASP and some Players from HRE, IKEA and independed Player's intercepted a Danish Constitution from RUS wich was guarded by several Frigates and a Niagara.

We had the Guns but they had the Tonnage.  The Danes try to get away in order to join the Port Battle, but we were able to keep them in the Instanz.

After about 45 min of fighting, we were able to sink all Danish ships including the  Consti. wich was a great sucess.

 

We had some losses, inculding my Merucry :-)

 

After we won the Portbattle some players wanted to start an counterattack on Fort Baai right away. WASP supported the flag with 10k. 

The Danes defeated us at Fort Baai in several Battles in and aorund the Port. 

 

But i still believe it was a good night. Sweden Finally fought back after almost 10 Days of pure defense.

So yesterday in WASP TS

"Hold my beer! Watch me how I capture that Danish Constitution!" 2 mins later the consti is on fire and everyone is screaming "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM IT, SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!, "RIP FABO" "I've seen this in a movie!"

11/10 would lit fire on a consti again while trying to board it!

AAR: 10.02. unkown Date

Yesterday Night WASP assambled  2 Renomèe’s, 3 Ceb’s, 2 Snows and a Privateer for a small Fleethunting. It seemed to be a quiete Evening, we sunk 3 Danish AI 3rd and their escort‘s. Sometimes together with free Captains, sometimes with little help of others. Towards the End oft he Evening, we got news of a Danish Playerfleet sitting infront of Gustavia trying to provocate a Battle. We tried to get there but only one of our Ceberus was able to join the Battle. Our Fleet had 3800BR the Danes had… well … 8000is BR. Our Frigate told us taht most of your Fleet are trying to get out oft the Battle before they woud get massacred..  There was little to help, so we lurked around the Port in hope to catch Danes wich were to late to join.

Suddendly a  Danish Frigate wich must have left the Big Battle jumped a French Player and his Escorts joust near Gustavia. Shortly after,  a RUS 3rd  Rate and 2 other RUS Frigates joind the Battle. The French were badly outgunned and outnumber, so we scratched togehter waht we coud and jumped in.

WASP brougth 3 Frigates and a Snow into the Fight together with Ship’s from IKEA and HRE and several Free Captains we engaged. The RUS Player’s try to run, but some of our Ships had Long 9 Pounders an were able ti keeo them in Battle. After a few Minutes we were able to catch up with them. To our suprised, they didnt turn and fight even when they knew they coudnt escape.

A first Frigate sunk soon  and a another blew up,killing our brave little Snow’s Crew… completely.. the last Frigate rammed – ME -  and started to burn.. We were splined into each other and i tough i woud blow up as well. But i got really lucky, somehow the RUS Frigate flip over my rear and  sunk without exploding. So we engaged the remaining  3rd Rate.. a lucky shot killed its main Mast leaving it surrounded by the Wolf’s. After several Broadside it started burning as well. Some players had striked their Sails and lied next to the burning 3th rate.. Well some did get away, a Niagara got blown up and a Frigate lost all its Crew..  I see some potential for Improvement J

 

After all it started out like a „normal“ evening but turned out to be very exciting  at its end.

Yestdaynight, the united swedish Clans on PvP One started a 3 Attacks on Danish Ports. Every Major Clan and many free Captians  joined the togehter for one big Fleet.

 

 

Myself, as a Member of WASP, was assinged with all of WASP and our new Friends form SAAA to the shielding Group wich backed up the Attack on Fort Baai.

It start out as a easy Job, the Dane's were attacked on multiple Front form several Nations and they did not send any segificant backup to Baai.

 

The Conquest was almost finisth when a Major RUS Fleet appeared close to Baai.. 6 3rd and many big Frigates.  Our Side had Ceberus, Renomèe and a Constiution. We knew the Battle was

lost before it begun. Neverless we attacked. Our Task was to stop any Backup and delay them, not to win. So the brave Captains of WASP, SAAA backup by free Captains and people of BL engaged the

far suprior enemy Fleet. I think the BR was 3000ish against 8000ish..

 

The Fleets spawned a stone throw anway form each other..Wich did favour as at all. The battle started and well, my Ceberus blow up after 4 mins... :-)

 

We lost that Battle, but we did delay them enough, so they were not able to join the Port Battle.

 

I guess we gonna call it a Tactical defeat and a strategical Victoury!

 

After this Major Battle, we assambeld some ships to raid near Danish Ports and to enjoy the rest of the Evening.

 

 

This was my view of a Great Evening..

Hello you boatshooting people! Reddaxi here!

 

I hear our Naval Action x-division is having a blast, (They're literally all over our forums.) and I thought I'd come here and share some of my experience in WASP Inc.

To me, WASP is a never-ending group of friends, seeking more friends to share epic gaming experiences with.

Whether you're a serious, hardcore, tactical boss, or a more casual gamer, we've got a spot for you. 

 

Our members comes from all over the world, and I've met some of my best friends here.

No matter when you play, what you play or how you play, there will always be at least one guy to join you!

And I'm not just talking about Naval Action. If you're looking for someone to play Red Alert 2 with, I can guarantee there'll be someone, who wants to do the same.

 

If you're a lonesome guy, who seeks someone to play with, or you & friends are looking for a clan to join; I can only recommend applying for WASP.

 

(Yes I made an account here, just to bump this thread for our Naval Action buddies. ^^)
