Niagara_1812
The Russian Frigate Shtandart Штандартъ was launched in 1703 at the Olonetsky shipyard, and was the first Flagship of The Imperial Russian Navy. She had 24 guns (later 28) and was personally captained by Tsar Peter 1 on her maiden voyage from Olonets to St. Petersburg in September 1703. In 1727, She was broken up. On September 4th 1999, an exact replica of Shtandart was launched from Petrovsky Shipyard in St Petersburg. Her Dimensions are Displacement 220 Tons Length 34.5 M (113 ft overall) 25.0 m (82.0 ft) (length deck center) Beam 6.9 m (23 ft) Height 33 m (108 ft) mainmast Draft 3.3 m (11 ft) Speed 11 knots Compliment 120 seamen Armament 24 guns (28 after 1710 refit) I think that Shtandart should be in the game because of her important role in the formation of the Russian Baltic fleet which helped contribute to the defeat of Sweden in The Great Northern War, and for the fact that Shtandart is such a beautiful ship! Just like The Ingermanland... Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shtandart_(frigate) Edited May 12, 2016 by Niagara_1812
Vernon Merrill
For some reason I just cant warm up to these earlier establishment ships... They seem so stubby and honestly are completely outclassed by later ships, even of a lesser rate. I'm all for ship diversity, but maybe more of the period of ~1785-1815
Haratik
Some more variety needs to be present before anymore Russian ships enter the game. My only dissent here. She is rather gaily colored, is that her natural scheme or just an assumption by an artist? Edited April 18, 2016 by Hairy Fishnuts

By the way, the fourth plan in the OP is that of Le Mercure, a french merchant ship of 1730. Definitely not the Shtandart
Niagara_1812
I can only assume that is her original paint scheme, I do know that they were painted black and white during the russo-turkish wars...

Malachi
A british 1st rate and a frigate around 1775: Doesn´t look like Nelson Chequer. Ships got rather boring colour schemes in the late 1800s/early 1810s. Edited April 5, 2019 by Malachi
