Many from the US, including me, play on it because of this. The EU label is only so you know where in the world it is, to allow you to choose a server in your region for ping purposes. There is no "European server for Europeans only", they're simply located in certain areas of the world. Game Labs will not deny a large portion of the game to a fairly large portion of PvP1's players simply because a port you want to take has a timer that's inconvenient for you.
