Just a question about the Waffles, why is its BR 300 ? means it can't play in duels against the other 4ths ?

I think it would be good if you could duel different class ships, to practice stern camping, anti stern etc, so give us a way to accept say a Belona v an Aggie etc.

I don't see any QQ just folks saying I didn't get my ship is my account ok...so no hassles...they did say the 1st, there is one shutdown on the 1st, there is another tomorrow which can deliver as per destructions.

I know folks would like to hear out TS, however I don't record it. It's just my personal preference, I want folks relaxing and having fun and not getting a slapping for anything that they said in the heat of battle or with their guard down. There are other streamers who show TS. I just have my own personal position on this.

I thought it was a good fight and good early learnings for the new PB mechanic, I felt the French made mistakes first half, the Brits second half. It was actually really close. At one point Brits were less than 5 mins from accruing the points. But fighting in that tiny circle was a bit errrr messy. I had a shocker, got my ship snagged on a wreck, thought it was the ship behind me stopping me turn, by the time I got out of trouble it was too late...really kicking myself. But it was a cracker inside and out. Ive attached the vid from the 'goodies' perspective (although I played a bit like a baddie today...Im blaming to many early mornings)

Well I like ALL this and cannot wait to try our first Port Battle, we biffed away for 2 hours this morning to stir that one up...hoping for the patch Don't suppose you have a screenie of the Port for Puerto De Espania ? Well I say hurrah. Can't think of a reason I don't like any of the new changes. Have tested the port to port and enter OW...now to test what happens when you logout.... Ok so when you logout the timer keeps going, so you can x out at say 4.45 and come str8 back in and it will be like 3.30 or whatever...if you wait until timer is over then...you can ONLY exit to a friendly port so like coolies. IF you logout in OW and just login, there is no obvious timer/message thingie about not being able to enter PB's

In general, simply HURRAH !! Oh and if you login, you can't join a port battle for 3 minutes and YOU ARE tagable. That is all.

The pain in spain comes mainly from the Dane, Frenchmen assploading, Brits on the hoof and much PvP event fun and not much more in this weeks A Letter to the King.

What times are the 3 events at ? Holidays now...so maybe can play in the 'one before shutdown' !

The new patch has landed, perhaps less than hoped for but also better than feared. In battle we saw fewer PB's than usual but some spectacular biffo. All this and more in this weeks A Letter to the King

Well put Hachi. Pretty much my same sentiment. Pirate game mechanic is broken and although smaller groups can do 'their own thing' there is little in the game for clans. Lets hope we all see more action, get some improved patches and one day...far away a place for pirates (end of the rope patch)

The French Silver Port, right next door to the French capital has been setup for battle using actual hostility via combat...shameful, two massive screening fleets are both fully engaged in front of the port....and now the battle proper begins.

I am guessing full boarding setup, gold marines etc...and rage board with bowsprit rams to stop ship asap...more skill than I normally have thought

So in essence I like these new PvX things. There are some nuances I would do differently. First off to understand why I like them I should explain from where and how I measure things : - I play alot, but often would like to be able to drop in and play for 'just an hour' - I am an average PvP'er who tries to get better..I doubt anyone fears (puts the brown pants on) when Jeheil is on the other side of the 'Tab'...more likely they rub their hands together. - I do not equate fun to winning or even mostly winning (see above)..equally I dont want to always be smashed by a mega death fleet of DEATH ! - I really really like the RvR, trade n raid biff and bash of OW I would have these 'mini' games purely from the lobby. I would, when I redo the UI make them their 'own thing'. I would seperate rewards and consequence from OW beyond cosmetics and 'ePeen'. I really think you could draw in THOUSANDS, 10's of THOUSANDS of players from a "World of Tanks", "World of Warships" type clone...5 v 5, 10 v 10, 15 v 15, rotated through land in port type settings. Leagues, ship ups etc etc This would be entered through the pub in the port interface....now would it ruin OW. Like WoW if OW is good enough no, it will be a time filler, drop in, distraction just like Arena in World of Warcraft was. So NO if OW is good, it won'r ruin OW at all. If its crap. It won't fix it either. PvP in OW should be less artificial and should be raids, port battles, hostility etc . This needs its own focus...and can be funded by the $$$'s brought in via the 30-45 min quick fix from a competative lobby system.
