Yes, that much is understood. Not sure it answers my question / observation however. Also, seems to me that I would rather developers be investing their time in developing the game rather than get distracted by dealing with tribunal reports.
That is why the green on green issues are handled automatically for the most part.

Its clear as day don't break the rules. It says not allowed so you can bet its not a slap on the wrist and probably be a account reset. The fact you paid money for this game is irrelevant considering upon purchase you agreed to the rules set forth.

All your idea does is create more hoops that players have to jump through which is not fun. Also this is not Potbs and we will not go down the same stupid path the developers of POTBS took. Also this is a game where you can do just about whatever you wan't, you want to craft fine, want to pvp fine, want to pve fine; Forcing people to pvp is against what the Developers wan't.

Seriously, it's like being the victim of a crime and be help responsible for the crime.
If they weren't doing there stuff in the first place, there would not even be that discussion, nor that thread. (By the way, what DOES a Clan thread in a NATION section?)
So they are Rogues of your nation roleplay it they make a NN thread saying they fought the french and won or whatever but the nation they are under is suppose to be allies with them, either post in their thread or make a seperate thread shaming it and announce a bounty on their heads.
Also just because they did this or that doesnt mean you stupe to their levels.

Why? They are the very guys who fought for the rights to "troll the way they want". I'm supporting them in their plight! I say - troll ahoy!

Then start treating the NN as it should and not a place to throw personal insults threats ect. Role play a response as they would back in that time period instead of getting pissed off. Prime example the Drunk fiasco that apparently went against the wishes of the rest of the nation, instead of whining about it and making tribunals and all that bs role play it out place bounties on their heads ect ect instead.
Praters old newspaper post are great example of such news reports.

The community was given a chance to improve NN it did not. Even when a clan tries to do a clean rp news some butthurt person or troll comes a long and derails it. For now it needs to go away since people are stuck being high schoolers.

I will remind folks 3rd rates were the most common ship in large battles, not frigates.

I do agree it is annoying but it can be easily overcome.

Kids these days never had to play Everquest where if you die you lose everything unless you get back to your corpse also if you die you lose experience and have to earn it back to start gaining experience to the next level. They never had to wait a half hour for a boat to arrive in the Ocean of Tears. And then there is the grind in that game and every half way decent mmo out there that doesnt hold your hand as you play. If everything was fast and you reached the end game content or goal in a month people will get bored and leave way faster than they do now.

A easy fix is to make captureing 3rd rates extremely hard because for the most part a ship of 200 men doesn't stand a chance against a ship of 600... And please do not use the rare occassion that historically it can be done because key word here is RARE

Never is it ok to sink a friendly and there is never a legitament reason too
