1) Usa should not have any first rate since in the period the game is based they not owned any first
2) No russian ships
3) All minor nation like swedish etc cant have first rate

IS A GAME , so talking about historical accuracy when you have multiple dur ships is rethoric. You either apply same historical accuracy to all or to none.
Pirates are the 2nd biggest community in game, nerf them to oblivion for the sake of being historical accurate and the game is dead since you lose a good 30-40% of the pop
1) America did have a 1st rate within the time line USS Franklin
2) Russia did have a vast amount of ships in the time period

Castello you are not getting it, a single picture is not enough to warrant the developers to investigate the one incident or any other "potential incident" Developers have pointed out that alt spying is allowed because it was common back in that time period as well as sabotage. The developers are not going to take the time to investigate every person that someone claims is spy or whatever because then development of game will stop. Also Game Labs does not have the authority to investigate someone via their IP.

The main killer of this idea is what you pointed out in your suggestion people can abuse it. What I see will happen is it will never get used or some players will abuse it.

Nothing in that video talks about the Victories agility at sea.
I will add everywhere I read about the victory that posted speeds on pegged it at around 8-11knots

This will cut the number of 1st rates in PB's possibly.
People that complain about micromanaging are the same people that probably gave the developers at Sony the idea of dumbing down SWG was a good idea...

People don't seem to understand how to deal with the new BR system. Want to join a battle as a group stick close together back in that time period a battle fleet sailed together not seperate. There were probably no scouting back then and no Tacklers. Think about it would a frigatee attack a fotilla 100s of miles away from his fleet? The answer is no he would be sunk by the time his fleet arrives which is what this BR system I think is replicating.

Tacklers are still useful there are enemies that also sail slower ships tackler can go after slower ship tag it tackler ally joins br ends up being 2x more for in favor of attacker defender allies can join.
The issue with ganking is people way over do it 10 v 1? come on that is just being a asshat

I dont mind being out numbered but when 1 ship ends up going up against 3 frigates and 10 3rd rates is a bit much. There does need to be some limit since historically would 3rd rate captains even bother going after a frigate?

As long as it applies to all factions I don't see an issue.
I could see the traders complaining about it, especially ones not in clans who could not get an escort.
Also see a few saying it would kill the Econ of the game if traders are afraid to move items and trade.
At some point in the future trader players can request a escort from a National player and who ever excepts the mission to escort said player will be teleported to that player location possibly when the trader player gets attacked or somethng. That is the brief description that I remember the Developers talked about long ago. It will probably be some time before that is added.

We also do not need anything in the game that does things for us like most f2p games that have it where you dont even have to find the quest location yourself, just click on the quest and it will auto run you to the spot..

I believe having alts tied in with the same nation is fine. It is more about the fact some people make alt spies but then hop on nation chat and then troll nation chat or entice those in the nation to join a different nation.
Alts in same nation: ok
Alt spies: ok
Alts that troll nation chat or entice to join a different nation: Not ok

I'm more in favor if a very hard NPC fleet was present to defend if no players are around too.

I think the only ports pirates can capture are ones farthest from the capital of a nation.
