  1. 9. Naval Action

It may still be in Early Access on Steam, but that doesn’t stop Naval Action laying anchor in the top of this genre. Giving you the helm of an 18th century vessel, you take to the open seas in a huge online environment with other players. With battles of up to 50 ships, realistic damage physics, and navigation that demands you use landmarks and the stars, this game not only doesn’t hold your hand - it cuts it off and replaces it with a hook.

  2. The current speed in OW is designed so it takes time to travel, Developers did not wan't the players to get from one end of the map to the other in 15-20min or less.  The teleport system was designed with the intentions to be used when people got stuck.  It use to have a 8hr cooldown for which i think it should go back too or even a 10-24hr one.

If you wan't to play with friends plan accordingly and all setup up a outpost in the area you wish to be in.

  3. Have you guys heard of the game called the Mandate? It is a new space type game i think it is single player only but one of the features in that game I found really neat is the crew.

In The Mandate the crew are basically living people they all have there personalities and traits families love lives create drama onboard or break rules where you as the captain has to discipline them.

The way it can be set up as was suggested before for NA and is like how the Mandate has it. The player will have officers he can hand pick himself to start they will have unique traits and personalities and below the officers will be the regular crew for which your officers affect how well they do their job based off the skills and traits based off your officers.  Your officers manage the crew on there own unless you feel the need to make adjustments yourself.

Starting out you have a few crew and few need of officers because your ship well is not that big as you gain rank and levels so does your crew and eventually one random crew member will be up for promotion to officer.  Reaching Admiral and have a officer ready and meet the requirements you can promote a officer or two to captain and give him a ship of his own.

Moral will play a part for your crew food and rum will be required to help maintain morale on long voyages.

Officers can die or get injured just like the crew and when that happens a selection of random crew members will be made available for promotion.

Thoughts and devs can something like this be added in the future?

  4. what ever happened to this patch ? :'(

Blackbeard i see nothing on that in regards to a set date, so i do not know what people are complaining about.

Edited:  looking back at post I see nowhere the devs giving a definite time table on when it be implemented they said they plan to implement it soooooooooooo what are we complaining about now?  A update that never had a set date?  Jeez people get off the band wagon that devs don't stick to dates

Last Edit:  The admin made the post as a means of letting the community know they are planning to implement the feature sometime in the future there is not set timetable for it, it will be implemented when the Devs get around to doing it and finishing it or if they are working on it then when they finish they will let us know and deploy the update.

    Again people  Relax

  5. I like how I cant comment on that video lol

Another person that spent only few hours probably playing it and not doing the research into understanding why some of the features are in the game.
