Same here, the open world PvP is pitiful. I've had a lot of fun in small battles, they have actually been very fun & skill based, something open world is lacking badly.

Yes, bring back the 1.5x BR. Force the people who want to gank to do something. Organize and stay together, make them work for it.

You can sail to enemy waters to look for a fight, you are either going to have to fight a gank, or if you do manage to find a somewhat relatively unfair/fair fight that is enjoyable it would seem enemy wants to bail on the fight knowing theirs a chance they might lose. This is the kind of behaviour that we have now in the open world, and now with the new spawn mechanics, what else do the gankers need to help them? They can just tag you and then the rest can just now sail infront of the original tag and bam now they are infront of you, no getting away. They have everything handed to them on a platter. 1.5x BR was great, be in the circle and you still got your ganks. But for the gankers I guess that wasn't enough, correct?

Well put. I Must say as a vet PvPer since sea trials, it is quite disheartening to see this happen to the game and open world. I Never thought skill based combat would be a thing of the past and all that would be left is ganking.

So you want to empty the open world and just leave zerg gankers in it? The rest play arena? I don't think that's the solution.

BR system has been epic so far, lots of interesting fights with it. Hope it's here to stay.

People try to make this game EVE, not Naval Action. I swear.

If every fight I did was 6v1 for my side I would get bored a lot faster than the person getting ganked. Just sayin'

That explains the squads of 15 trincs and renos that gank anything that they outnumber by 10 and then when enemy shows up with a force that could give them a somewhat even fight they peel off back home.

This hurts my head, people can't play the game without their ganks, they are worried that they won't have a superior force that is impossible for enemy to defeat on their side every battle. And you can still gank people, just be in the battle circle when the tag starts. Keep in mind this is just being tested, gankers always freak out so easily, it's just being tested. Chill........

Demasting does take skill, just some don't understand how to do it. It adds another fighting style. Without demasting, it would make the game boring. Demasting was made super hard in the wacky patch and it was brought back because all that was left was endless hull mashing.

Putting 150,000 Gold on SeaWolf -Must be even fight 1v1 at same BR -Must not be a ram sink -Must have proof of the battle screen and such

I Agree they sell for too much, definitely needs to be fixed. But I don't think making them uncaptureable is the way to go, I mean theirs already a lack of good pvp as it is, don't want to make people not want to pvp even more, it's already bad enough.

Me and (SeaWolf) Pirates were attacking a traders brig when 3 Constitutions Joined and started to demast and sink us (Pirate Vs Espana So it was TEAM Damage). MrDoran, Ben Ramsey & Crimson Hussar. Ben Ramsey and MrDoran began to demast Seawolf and Crimson started to demast me. Later we surrenderd after things looked ugly and we knew we weren't getting away. This behavior is just unacceptable.

385 crew on a consti vs 280 on a bellpoulle, my crew did 0 damage to enemy crew whilst it slaughterd my whole crew with out losing 1 man. Lost my consti and all my mods with it. I Would suggest not board anything at the moment!
